this is med star southern maryland hospital in clinton, maryland. and one of the firefighters who was shot tonight inside was brought to the emergency room here. reportedly this is the one who was shot in the chest. initial reports were that they were in extremely critical condition. and when word like that gets out, certainly all of the fellow firefighters show up here. so we're seeing a number of ambulances and fire cars pull into the hospital here. you can see they're gist standing outside the emergency room. mark brady and some of the other officials have told us families have made it to the hospital. one of the firefighters was brought here. the other one taken to shock trauma at the university of maryland medical center in baltimore. families with both of them and clearly firefighter family here as well so this is certainly early in this situation but you can see a great concern here by the turnout. we have been told it's possible we may get a press conference later this evening but for now they're holding vigil in front of the emergency room.
