man broke into the woman's house. pamela osborne is live outside police headquarters incentercity. tellus how the situation unfolded. what happened here? >> tracy, according to police, that exboyfriend tried to break into that woman's home not once but twice. the first time they say the 33-year-old tried to get in through a kitchen window. the woman who lives there is the ex and the mother of his two children. she and her current boyfriend were able to push him out of her marco street home. this is just after midnight. that's when police say the first call to 911 was made. the caller told the operator someone was breaking in. police tell us, excuse me, the people inside of the home heard a commotion. they went upstairs and found the ex managed to get in through a second story bedroom window. police say first he got into a fight with the exgirlfriend, then her current boyfriend. the current boyfriend shot the man in the chest. that's when another call was made to 911. this time, the caller said someone had been shot. police found the 33-year-old on the floor of that bedroom. they
