tupper 80's in trenton, allentown, wilmington, millville. a couple of 90's around. down the shore it looks like low 80's for the most part. 83's and 84's but even though the temperatures on the beach are good and the ocean temperatures look good, do be careful of that combination of heavy surf and rip currents not only today but tomorrow and probably straight through most of the holiday weekend. overnight tonight after midnight there is the chance of a shower or a thunderstorm rumbling through, maybe waking you up and a little bit more of that is possible into tomorrow afternoon. we're hoping that this model is wrong and we can squeeze out some sun across most of the region but there is that chance of a lingering shower especially to the east. in the tropics gaston a category three scooting out of here. tropical depression eight still not a tropical storm. same story on tropical depression number nine. as matt mentioned, eight never made landfall, just really stayed away from cape hatteras and those outer banks so there's no more watches up there. as this passes by us today, though,
