less than 20 bucks a share. two months ago the company was acquired by verizon for $184 a share after a furious bidding war with at&t. all of which begs the question how could have the market got this story so wrong? why was straight path written off as a lowers even though verizon was willing to shell out a fortune. is verizon that stupid was the collective wisdom so to speak of the market buyer and sellers plain wrong? before we dig deeper into the question you have to understand what the company does. it's an electro magnetic speculator they gobbled up 868 licenses from the fcc which allowed the company to build out a nationwide network they charge wireless carriers for the right to used their bandwidth. they are going to be essential to the build out of fifth generation wireless networks at the same time the company owns a bunch of intellectual companies. they are aggressive about suing anyone who infringes on their patents. mainly the asset here are intangible straight path should have been one of the easy evident to understand they spoken spectrum and patents. seems pretty
