jaclyn is tracking a major shutdown on the golden gate bridge this morning. >> yeah. it hasn't been an easy commute for many drivers. and this could definitely slow you down. right now, we aren't tracking any major delays across the bridge. but an accident that happened overnight damaged some -- one of those steel barriers and right now two lanes over at the golden gate bridge -- [ indiscernible ] the tollbooth are closed. so again, we are not seeing a major backup right now. but this could cause some delays once we get a lot of commuters heading in that direction into san francisco. it's been rough on 80 along that stretch, as well. we have an earlier crash at central that's cleared and now a crash near san pablo dam road has traffic backing up towards highway 4 in hercules. so just under a 30-minute ride for drivers heading along the eastshore freeway right at 6:00 this morning. and richmond parkway if you would like to use that as your alternate, keep in mind a lot of people have the same idea so that's slow in both directions. we'll keep you advised of when those

jaclyn is tracking our commute. we're starting with a fatality in the east bay. >>> it's been a rough start for drivers heading along highway 4 this morning. this is out near discovery bay. a big rig and another vehicle head-on crash there. and both directions shut down. though closure is at tracy boulevard. the backup is in both direction through discovery bay. highway 4 down to 30 miles per hour in some stretches so give yourself some extra time. no word as to when these lanes will re-open. it will probably be through the morning commute. use byron highway or south

so as we saw in jaclyn's traffic, you saw the golden gate covered at the top. but people can drive through it. cloudy start this morning. we are going to see that sun this afternoon. the clouds though will linger along the coastline. keeping our temperatures cool along the coast. here's a look at the wind speeds right now. 10-mile winds out of the west, nine in hayward, pleasanton, 7. concord 15. you're getting a little breezy this morning. napa 5-mile-per-hour winds. this afternoon, though, that's when those winds will really start to feel them. you will see the flags flapping out there because of the low off the coast. this is actually causing our pressure gradient to increase so it's going to cause our winds to pick up even more. our high temperatures today, same as yesterday. >> the oakland a's are playing the orioles, cool and breezy there. so expect those winds to really be felt around 7 p.m. when they will be strong. 66 degrees will be the temperatures for the game. highs today in the 90s for the inland areas, upper 60s at the bay, low 60s at the coast.
