becky lives daily with the consequences of diabulimia. so the reason i walk with crutches at the moment is because of the damage that i've done to my feet. the surgeon at the time was, like, "yeah, your bone is actually like honeycomb and mush, and it's kind of dissolving it." hard to think that these things are going to be with me for life. she was diagnosed with type one diabetes aged 19. it's not the lifestyle—related type, but an autoimmune disease, controllable if you take regular insulin injections. but becky stopped doing that. she restricted the amount of insulin she took to lose weight. doing this has no official name, but it's become known as diabulimia. it's a dangerous game to start. and once you start it, you kind of get obsessed with it. becky was admitted to hospital when her weight became critical. the next image is shocking. that was the first or second night that i was in, that one. i got tubed, because i wasn't able to physically eat. it's a good reminder of where i don't want to be. becky was lucky that she found sup

i'm becky quick along with joe kernen and andrew ross sorkin. let's look at the u.s. equity futures. markets moved higher yesterday on this thought that there will be a deal that gets cut. dow up by 55 points yesterday. this morning it looks like futures are slightly lower for the dow and s&p 500 with the dow futures indicated down by 8 1/2 points s&p down by 1 point. the nasdaq slightly positive up by 1.5. all of this happening as we are tracking hurricane irma as it approaches the united states let's look at asia the stock markets there starting with the nikkei, looking at those markets. you will see the nikkei up slightly the nikkei up by 0.2%. shanghai composite under pressure as was the hang seng, down by a third of a percent the hang seng down by a third of a percent, shanghai composite down by a half percent in europe, in early trading, mostly green arrows. the dax is up by almost 1% the cac in france up by a half percent. if you check out crude oil prices, yesterday up 1% to 49.16. this morning wti back down to 48.99. >>> let's get an up

i'm becky quick along with joe kernen and andrew ross sorkin. today is the last trading day of the third quarter. stocks have been on a strong run. the dow up 4% in the last three months s&p 500 is up by 3%. the nasdaq is the big winner, up by 5%. stocks are on track to finish in the green in september for the first time since 2013. tech, energy, materials leading the way. consumer staples, real estate and consumer discretionary lagged even though you're talking about real estate and consumer discretionary being flat, those are the lagging sectors. a look at futures a mixed picture with the dow indicated down by 12 points. s&p is down by a point the nasdaq indicated up by close to 7.5 points. in asia, you will see the nikkei actually was flat. it was down by 0.03% hang seng was up bay half percent. the shanghai composite was up by 0.3% in europe, in the early trading, will you see that right now it looks like things are mostly positive the dax is up by 0.3%. the ftse up by 0.6%. >>> a couple big stories uber saying its ceo will head to london to
