not as bad a cape may and rehoboth beach. tomorrow morning 5:00 a.m., 48-mile an hour gusts here, a little less farther to the south. even though the 30s are not great. 10:00 a.m., a 50-mile an hour gust in atlantic city and up in the mid 30s or higher rehoboth beach and cape may. it gibbs you an idea with the onshore winds that will give us problems with the debris blowing around. deck chairs that are not tied down could be a problem. there are concerns if the gusts get high enough we could sheds turned over and damaging with awnings. we're not only looking at hurricane jose we have hurricane maria which is a category three storm, a major disarm this looks like it will go through san juan puerto rico as perhaps a category four. perhaps bothering some of the eastern bahamas before it consults to the north and from there uncertainty where it goes. we'll look at the tracks on both of these before it comes back and have much more on the impacts down the shore from hurricane jose storm number one. >> see the latest tracks of hurr

"action news" reporter john rawlins is live in rehoboth beach. nora muchanic is staked out in atlantic city but first meteorologist cecily tynan with the latest information on the storm. cecily what's the story. >> jim, hurricane jose is a category one hurricane. if you look at this latest loop, you can see that it's still about 250 miles off the coast of the carolinas so it's far enough off the coast that it's just really going to be brushing the delaware and jersey coast as it continues to move up to the north and it's lost some of its tropical characteristics. now, if you look at this graphic what you see in yellow these are the tropical storm force winds, sustained winds, they extend about 200 miles from the center of josÉ but josÉ is far enough out to sea that these sustained winds will not be reaching the coast. however, the wind gusts will so we have expected wind gusts expected along the coast 40 to 45 miles per hour but since we're talking about gusts, not sustained winds that's tropical storm watch has been canceled from the national
