i'm matt o'donnell and here is karen rogers with a look at track. karen. >> yeah, matt, we've seen a jam in delaware that should start to ease. this is route one northbound at new castle red lion here in new castle county. expect major delays coming north of odessa but this accident did just clear so we should see improvement soon. this is a live look in delaware county. i-95 right here, northbound traffic headed towards the airport. that big accident involving a tractor-trailer is cleared. still a 19 minute jam from delaware to the blue route so it's still heavy but not as it was with thattraile ccident clearing. and this is still blocked. since 11:30 last night. we have been watching and waiting. they're waiting for the tree come to come out. they have this low hanging tree. in the meantime since 11:30 they have shut down the ramp from montgomery drive to the schuylkill eastbound. tree compathere yet so they're sitting and they're waiting. not good there, matt. >> thank you, karen. we certainly cannot complain about the weather today. here's meteo

. ♪ >> good morning i'm matt o'donnell, 7:23 a.m., monday, october 9 him it's columbus day, matt pellman is starting us out in south jersey where it's dry right now. >> reporter: at least we have that going for us. lighter volume this morning. it should be an easier ride, but it hadn't been along 42. although it's starting to get better. northbound side by creek road, the delay is starting to break up, balls the crash by 295 is gone. south by route 41 we're substantially delayed from blackwood clementon road through this point up toward 55. we have are a crash in mount laurel 73 northbound past 295, but delays thinning here, too in the northbound lanes, our jersey jams are starting to improve a little bit. investigating the hit-and-run accident from the overnight in fox chase, pine road is blocked. plymouth meeting watch out for a crash at ridge pike and conshohocken road. >> david is off, nate is here along with karen after the break. >> reporter: good morning everybody, happy monday morning, are you ready to start the week? let's look at storm tracker 6 live double scan. the rain is in

i'm matt o'donnell. i-95 typical trouble spot tops our traffic report. >> it is matt and a little hard to see as we look at this shot on i-95. we have the left lane being blocked. we've got an accident. you can kind of make out the flashing lights through the area as you look through the low clouds in south philadelphia. i-95 southbound approaches columbus boulevard here. as you head towards the walt whitman bridge hard to see and you have an accident blocking the left lane so jams from cottman avenue now to columbus boulevard. northbound you see everyone moving kind of slowly here and they've got a gaper delay on i-95 northbound. lincoln drive outbound at mccollum street an accident involving an overturned vehicle. emergency workers on the scene. traffic is moving in both directions on the inbound lanes because outbound is blocked with this overturned vehicle accident. outside live on 309 we see an accident involving four vehicles. we've had a lot of big accidents today. this is our latest one right her
