i'm dave clark. >> i'm pam cook. we are talking about the weather back east. 15 people have died in a powerful winter storm in the southeast. icy roads led to hundreds of crashes in several states. many areas are not used to this weather. the storm caused record snowfall in virginia and the carolinas. the weather is also causing problems at the airports. if you were traveling across country, yesterday, hundreds of flights were canceled or delayed. crews are still working to restore power across georgia and north carolina. yesterday we were talking -- i tried to make a couple calls handling business and offices are shut down. they are not even handling customer service. >> that's system has moved out but there were some incredible -- north carolina, south carolina -- 9 or 10 inches of snow. we are prepared for rain but we did not get much. we had a little bit, not too bad. mendocino took the most. ben lomond, two thirds. castro valley, one third. oakland and san jose, 40 3/100. the front has gone through and here come
