accused of starting a fire in santa rosa. it destroyed multiple storage units and caused major damage to the building. it started saturday afternoon at the roseland self storage on roseland avenue. crews quickly put out the fire. police arrested eric chait. they say he was smoking a cigarette while using butane to extract hash oil from marijuana . the cigarette started the fire. officials say the fire caused about 300-thousand dollars in damage. ( darya ) also in the north bay... police arrested five teens after an armed robbery at a park. it happened saturday afternoon at los robles park near highway 1-0-1 in windsor. police tell us two young men were robbed at gunpoint by a group of at least five teenagers. the thieves then took off in a black acura... that belonged to one of the victims. officers later spotted the car at a gas station and arrested the group. check this out, 1 1/2 of rain there and over an inch of rain in santa rosa. napa, almost an inch of rain there. as we move down to san francisco, over an inch for most of the city. while we are continuing to measure more of those downpours and for the peninsula, in shark park, 1 1/4 inches and san car low, an inch there. looking at 3/4 of an inch in portola valley. as we head to the south bay, downtown san jose, 1/2 an inch. this is more rain than we've had all season long in most of the bay area. we continue to measure more rain, also for the east bay, we we are getting 1 1/4 inch in the berkeley hills. dublin, an inch of rain there, and livermore 3/4 of an inch. we also have the flash flood watch that will be in effect for the burn scar areas as we continue to add more rain to these totals. most likely we could see in some of the burn scar areas debris flows and mudslides as we possibly could get 2 to 4 inch office rain in those areas. we'll talk more about the rain and the batch of heavy rain approaching the bay area within the next hour, that's coming up

i have seen 3 inches and santa rosa over an inch. the system is moving through towards the valley back slicing through the east bay, headed towards san jose. it still looks like it is on the go. parts of moren over to napa. there are a couple of cells moving towards hayward and up towards the 586 interchange, they are moving quick. and a pretty good line approaching santa cruz. there is also a decent breeze out of the southeast for now at about 15 to 30 mile per hour gusts. and fairfield is also showing that. we might get cooler temperatures in the north, right now, 40s and 50s. truckee has snow developing there, beginning to move into the sieras. our system will be morning rain and then we will have sun and clouds this afternoon. a break on tuesday, but then wednesday, the last of the series will move in and that looks to be the strongest for now. rain for the morning and clouds and sun for the afternoon. temperatures will be in the 50s and wednesday afternoon and evening, rain develops, it will be heavy at times and then high press

santa rosa, 39. napa airport in santa rosa our reporting fog again. this is a very cold pool of unstable air on its way. there is a break this morning. most locations will not have rain but it will pick up later this afternoon. 50s for the temperatures. >> there is slow traffic out there. i want to show you it will be slow on 80 westbound if you're traveling from the carquinez bridge to richmond. there is an accident at the richmond parkway and traffic is going to be very slow. people are driving along at very slow speeds on this stretch just after the carquinez bridge to the crash. after that traffic looks good. the entire time it takes you to get from the carquinez bridge to the maze is almost an hour. 52 minutes to be exact. when you get to the bay bridge there is another 15-20 minute delay getting onto the span. there have been no problems on interstate 880 north- and southbound. this is northbound 101 and san jose, 280 and 85 are also lighter than usual. here's a live look at 280. it looks okay. >>> one oakland hills neighborhood is drying out af
