look at the right now number in concord. it's 79. that's gotta sound wonderful. if you're in and around the bay, we didn't change much today. it was 70 in the city. a few degrees cooler than yesterday. san jose was 87. look at concord and santa rosa. 17 and 12 degrees cooler than yesterday. so that was a nice change. and as you take a look across the rest of the bay area tomorrow, here's everybody's daytime highs. we're going to keep these numbers down. tomorrow others the head line is not that the temperatures are going to be nice, it's that we're going to get rain in the morning. we could see the first showers as early as 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. very light, widely scattered. more likely in the north bay at that point than down here in the south bay. as the energy moves south, we'll start to increase the odds down in the heart of the bay. that gets us to 6:00 a.m. but there owget a 10th of an in of rain from 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 in the morning, in that window. a 10th of an inch of rain is not a big deal, unless it's the first one of the season, which this on

we head through 3:00 up to 102 in danville and concord and livermore. this area may set a new record today for concord and for hayward we're going to possibly match the record high temperature for today, and then for the north bay also really hot but we go into tonight with upper 60s. as we go into the weekend, we'll be tracking the storm systems moving across the pacific midwest right now blocked by high pressure but as the high pressure moves out of the way, cooler air moves in. we'll see clouds on saturday, especially on sunday, mostly cloudy skies and then a slight chance of rain in the forecast for monday especially for the north bay, kind of looks like it breaks apart for the rest of the bay area but nice to at least see a slight chance of rain in the forecast, going into next week, coming along with some much cooler temperatures, so the inland valleys from 101 today to 75 for the high on monday. i'll have a look more at these drastic changes coming up in the next forecast. >> thank you, kari. >>> parts of southeast spain under water this morning.
