the driver killed on 680 in san jose this morning was a 20-year- old female from san jose. hurst name not released as they investigate the cause of the crash. here is video of the crash site. the driver was heading northbound on 680 and veered off of the road. the car took out a sign, a light post and flipped ending up on the roof near the service road off of the freeway. this happened around 2:15 a.m. at the jackson avenue exit. the officers have not determined what caused the driver to lose control. they were taking measurements this morning, and collecting evidence from the scene. that is the second overnight crash that chp responded to. around 1:00 a.m. officers were called to multivehicle collision at highway 17 in los gatos. the driver of the jeep wrangler was traveling the wrong way on highway 17, and it crashed into a sedan with formant people inside. one vehicle ended up on its side and caught fire. the debris covered the lanes of traffic and the witness said that a motorcyclist could not slow down, driving into the debris and also injured. >> the people i spoke to
