just off the east coast, here's the colder air back to buffalo, new york and back through green bay that starts working in overnight tonight. eventually what that cold air will try to do is catch up with this front, this system that rides up the east coast for tonight and into tomorrow morning. the rest of the country right now rather quiet. however, it's that front that we're concerned with for late tonight into tomorrow morning. now, tonight, this evening,9:00, 10:00, 11:00, still in the 40s and rain starts to overspread as that colder air works in, you transition over to snow. i do expect steady, wet snow for the morning commute on friday and it will be moderate to heavy at time, especially across eastern mass, southeastern mass, pockets of some heavier snow coinciding with that morning commute. the evening commute different story. we should dry out in the afternoon. although there may be some lingering snow down through the cape early in the afternoon, including plymouth county, as well. 3 to 6 inches just to the south of boston here down through plymouth county, bristol county
