>> reporter: that's right, keith. we are live inside warner elementary school in the library because we're here for this meeting that's about to start any minute and tonight the school district teachers will announce a no-confidence vote against the secretary of education and they tell me they have a number of concerns. chief among the concerns and using students' standardized test results. the governor announced today the state is cutting back the number of standardized states they want to help teachers spend more time teaching and less time prepping and this isn't just about the test. it's about the way the state uses the results of the test. >> teachers are not against assessment. teachers invented assessment. we're simply against the misuse of assessment in making critical personnel decisions that impact our students. >> and you can see it's getting under way right now. the governor tells me he wants to look deeper into the way they evaluate teachers. the teachers say they do their best with the students every day

keith, they are just beginning to activate the scene. you can see the live pictures as they put up the police tape around this crime scene at this moment. >> i don't know, george if you heard the first part of what keith said before that a suspect is being transported, we are told, to einstein hospital with a gun shot wound. have you heard any details? i know it's getting louder there. have you heard details about the shootout or the circumstances that may have led to this officer being shot? >> reporter: we don't know about that jacqueline as i mentioned and i hope i was clear at the top of the live shot this is an officer byof the 22nd district and we don't know if it was a steakout or if it occurred randomly in the process of the officer's duty but like i say, it does seem increasingly clear that the gamestop store which is to the back of the shopping center and you can see in these live pictures crime scene units rolling up and proceeding into the crime scene here but as i was saying the game stop store at the back of this complex a

. >> reporter: that's right, keith. the crime scene unit finally left here almost 24 hours exactly after officer wilson was shot. since then a cleaning crew and a regional manager for gamestop have been in and out of the store. a van just pulled up to fix the shot out glass. there were a number of eyewitnesses. that helped the investigation. yesterday's snow made it a lot tougher. >> i think it's a shame. >> reporter: late today cleaning crews in and out of the gamestop, this just after a investigators cleared the scene they had been examining. police actually melted the snow around the front of the store, trying to recover the 50-plus shell casings that remained after the shoot-out. today we also met dan, a guy who lives a few blocks from the plaza at 22nd and lehigh. he brought his niece and nephew out to the small memorial for officer wilson. >> they're out here ever day to protect us and make sure we're safe in the neighborhood. it's such a tragedy. >> reporter: when employees heard the shots yesterday, they told me
