This week's show is all about the the 1989 sports comedy classic, Major League.  I start off by talking about my time as a not so great third baseman in little league baseball, then I move onto the move itself.  I discuss the plot of the film, the cast, the alternate ending, the music and much more. Major League is one of just a few great baseball movies and it is filled with great actors.  So if you like baseball or not, I think you will enjoy it.

Barbed Devils  are no joke in any version of  Dungeons & Dragons . My advice though is to use them sparingly and keep them special. They are cunning creatures that are highly intelligent. One alone should strike fear into any party and give them a run for their experience points.

This week's Retroist Podcast is about the infamous 1980s cult classic, Mac and Me.  This film is widely mocked and is a staple of "move riffers."  I don't feel the same way about the film.  So I start off the show talking about the popularity of this film among families and kids when I worked at the video store. I strongly believe that people should choose how they want to consume art, but I hope to remind people that this film is not a joke to everyone who watches it. After...

This week's Retroist Podcast is all about the 1980 comedy classic, The Private Eyes.  The movie starred Don Knotts and Tim Conway as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson style characters. This was an amazing show to catch when it ran on HBO in the eighties, it was the primary place I consumed it, usually on lazy afternoons alone or with my friends. After sharing my memories of watching the film, I moved onto the film itself.  I discuss the people in front of and behind the camera, the production,...
