The Center for Strategic and International Studies held a discussion on post-Brexit foreign and security policy with former British Defense Secretary Liam Fox. His remarks came just a few days after the U.K. officially left the European Union after 47 years as a member state. The former defense secretary said the U.K. would not enter an era of withdrawal and isolationism and would retain their global leadership in the world with membership in international bodies like, the U.N. Security Council, G7, World Trade Organization (WTO) and NATO. He also said China, Iran and Russia's increasing influence is the U.K.'s top security concerns.
