memory but his timelines are off by as much as a decade. >> sean: that's evil. hanni hannity.com. we will not be the destroy trump media ever. let not your heart be troubled. laura ingraham are you in new york? >> laura: no. i'm here. i was is in texas. why are you in new york? >> sean: i don't want to pay any more. >> laura: come on. rush told us we should move to florida two decades ago. >> sean: i said to rick perry one time i want to go to texas. i want a baby ranch. he goes what, like 4,000 ache centers no, i want like two cows. i grew up in new york. >> laura: there are a lot of the hannity fans down there. we met a lot of great people. >> sean: it was a great show. that crowd outside was massive. how big was that crowd? >> laura: i mean we put the photos on twitter. i'm not a -- you could see the
11:01 pm
picture. >> sean: it was massive. >> laura: it took my breath away. it takes a lot to stun me. he actually was unbelievable. good people >> sean: they heard ingraham is there. that added to the house. >> laura: yeah exactly. great show tonight sean as always. i'm laura ingraham, this is the "ingraham angle" back in washington tonight. we have a lot to get to. at any moment we are expecting the text of the actual border compromise. well it's the bill and it's gonna drop any moment. we're also awaiting word on whether the president will actually sign it. you want to the stay with us right through this hour. we're going to be analyzing it line by line for you. you've got to know what's in this thing. plus the failure of the high speed rail project in california. it's one of my favorite issues ever. i've been tracking this for year. it's the latest in the long line of liberal pie in the sky disasters. my angle will explain what politicians have lied to you along the way and what lessons
11:02 pm
you can take from this. also tonight the revenge of the "assman"! why am i having to say this? we told you about this last week. a lot of you apparently are interested in this. i have a question, are you celebrating galentine's day? this is so disturbing. raymond arroyo is with us in a very wild seen and unseen tonight. but first, i want all of you to understand what's at stake and what is going on here tonight. no matter what anyone tells thank you the so-called border deal is a complete abdication of responsibility by congress. it has nothing, zero, nada, to do -- it doesn't do anything to stem the crush of humanity that we're seeing at our southern border right now. there has been a 290% increase in the number of so-called family units illegally crossing into america just in the first four months of this fiscal year. as the "washington post"
11:03 pm
reported, quote after the surrendering to authorities families are driven to border patrol stations where they state a fear of deportation and a desire to seek asylum in the united states. in most cases the families are released after a few days and assigned a court date. last month an unprecedented 59% of all border apprehensions were comprised of migrants traveling in family groups. well, what the post didn't tell you, is that 90% of these migrants are not really eligible for a soil lump. but instead, have been coached by immigration activists or lawyers or other family members or friends already in the united states. their claims will ultimately be rejected by immigration judges. but it doesn't matter. because most never show up for their hearings and many, during that interim period have children here. so then they're never gonna be sent back.
11:04 pm
democrat law makers will say that border crossings are down, they're not up. well guess what? don't fall into that trap. that's irrelevant. it's a red herring. when 1800 adults and children cross canned illegally into the u.s. on monday alone including two groups of more than 300 just in el paso, we have a full blown border crisis. smugglers get rich. cartels infiltrate the caravans and hard working americans get stuck with the tab. education costs, health care costs, housing, and court appointed interpreters, just to layout a few budget items. of course this could all stop tomorrow, if congress did what it should do tonight. all asylum applications should be filed outside of america. this itself removes the incentive to both storm border check points and to cross illegally. secondly, the law must be
11:05 pm
changed to allow for media border turn backs. in other words you come here from honduras or guatemala and you're immediately the sent back which is what we do now with mexicans who cross illegally. third one illegal border crossing and you're out. you're back home. and that means back to zero tolerance. meaning once we've caught you, you're deported and you may not apply to return legally to the united states. that would have a powerful deterrent effect from people that want to come. maybe they'll actually apply to come legally p finally, prosecute more adults for child endanger want. american pair penalties are thrown in jail from letting their kids walk home from school alone. let alone putting them in situations where me don't have proper food or water. why do illegal aliens get special treatment? dragging kids through dangerous territory, the desert, food,
11:06 pm
water, coyotes, presentedatorpre are a few of my ideas. what are yours? congress what are you gonna do? here now mark morgan, and luis miranda. and don bapst dan bongino. farm, you've been at the helm of an important enforcement agency in all of this. what did i leave out in my prescription? laura as i listened to you my first reaction is you can just drop the mic. everything you said was just right. from ray border security perspective this proposal is an absolute failure. they not only didn't listen to the experts on the tools and resources they needed they have absolutely rejected it. the american people need to understand what they're doing with ice beds. so think about this, this proposal reduces the ice beds, and i'm not a mathematician but
11:07 pm
reduces the ice beds as you pointed out, illegal immigration is sky rocketing. what does that mean? catch and release 2.0 they're going to have to release them. >> laura: they're codifying catch and release dan bongino. i know there are a lot of republicans out there trying to put a good face on all of this. they love the president and want him to be successful. i say tonight they are failing this nation and they are failing to enact the trump agenda. they put him up against the wall saying you're gonna shut down the government. this was planned to go this way all along in my view. dan yeah i mean laura, listen. the president has been candid. he said himself yesterday in the cabinet room this was a bad deal. what is he gonna do? you know here is the problem, laura. we're dealing with a political party in the democrats that's given up on america completely. they've committed to the dee strufks our borders, our economy with this green new as far as and this other stuff out there. we're having ridiculous
11:08 pm
arguments like do walls work? these aren't sane arguments. we're not dealing with a rational party any more. we have one party committed to the destruction of the country as we know and another good swath of americans who have abandoned the president and are complete cowards, they're afraid of the media. what do you want the president to do? he's in a corner fighting the swamp sometimes almost entirely by himself. it's embarrassing. >> laura: luis, people have been saying americans are against the wall. okay? i was down in el paso texas, and this was under reported fact, and you could see it in our overhead shots of the crowd, it was at least 50% hispanic. there were people from central america, mostly mexicans, people are third and fourth generation american, were you at beto's rally? >> laura: no i was at trump's rally, covering it and broadcasting. it dwarfed trumps's rally.
11:09 pm
this is what the new polling is saying. fox news poll out today for support of the border wall is up 3% from last month. now it's up at 46%, september it was 39%. but what people are hearing i think is oh well trump wants to build a wall from sea to shining sea. he's never said. that he wants to build a wall, where a wall makes sense. why when we see all the waste, fraud and abuse in washington, d.c. why wouldn't people want to come to our country legally, say good we want to feel more secure. we're going to come legally? i'm glad you said. that there isn't a good legal system. all the president has done is actually made it harder for people who want to seek asylum to find that. there's legitimate violence, incredibly big violence and a difficult environment for people who are fleeing their homes to come to the border. and i agree with you, what you said earlier.
11:10 pm
let's create points for them to be able to request asylum along the way. let's assign more judges to adjudicate those cases more quickly. >> laura: we can agree on that he's trying to build a wall for 2,000 miles. >> laura: luis, are we a country, i'm going to cut through this crap. are we a country? of course. >> laura: no. we're a country, right? i haven't -- >> laura: what does a country have? a thing called sovereignty, yes citizens and laws, rules >> laura: can we determine who comes in-and-out? yes or no. you will not answer that he request. we have a god given right they're not coming here to sit by the pool. >> laura: you can't say that you know what everyone is coming to do george w. wush bush himself >> laura: thank you. that was a big huge success they're being given jobs by industries author not fined
11:11 pm
under the trump administration. >> laura: i'm happy to fine those industries. kevin mccarthy tried to sum it up. let's watch the president is getting a victory there. they tried to eliminate the beds. we have the same cap we had before. what it really is, is not providing the five billion, just one tenth of one percent of the whole budget. this bill is a down payment. the president still has other avenues that he can use to get the rest of the money and finish it. >> laura: dan, hold on one second. mark i want you quickly on that and then dan he shouldn't have to result to level two and three, right? congress should do what they're -- 230 miles, the experts, that's not sea to shining sea. that is a false narrative and you know it. 230 miles is all they're asking from the experts. the beds, right now ice has 49,000 people. the experts are saying we need 52,000 and congress says we'll give you 42. this is a failure.
11:12 pm
>> laura: dan this last minute little trickery that they always engage in, is when you really have to look closely at -- that's why we're waiting for this thing to drop, there's always little golden nuggets tucked in the language of the bill. they tried to do that with amnesty back in 2013. that inflamed out. we have to look at it carefully. i don't like the cram through, rush through it. you have to sign it or we're going to shut down the government. it's an abdication of duty. everyone on capitol hill should be ashamed of themselves. i'm so angry about what they did here you should be. there will be a poison pill. my suspicions is it will be limitations on the construction of the barrier and the barrier will be one the democrats want which means no barrier at all. it will be a 3d hollow graham barrier. that will be the poison pill. the republicans need to sign a quick i short cr here. when this bill is out there, to
11:13 pm
give them enough time to look at this thing. laura you nailed t there will be absolutely some poison pill. mark is absolutely right. luis with all due respect you came in here with talking points and that's nonsense. nobody has abdicated for a sea to shining sea. you're just making that up, literally. mark is right. it is 230 miles. no, no, no, it is a 230 -- that is not what is happening now. that is not what's happening now. >> laura: so you want him to do the wall? you promised the wall? i think we need a set of measures. this is exactly what this compromise is. it is democracy, democrats and republicans working together. neither side is going to get what it wants. it is providing fenceing and other measures that are is important. if you do just one thing -- >> laura: why should the american worker have to work two jobs so they can send their kids
11:14 pm
to public schools that are teeming with kids, classes are already over crowded. and now in fairfax county virginia, prince william county virginia there are over crowded classrooms and teachers are trying to do their very best. they're dealing with 17 languages spoken by children coming in. i love languages, they're wonderful. that's ale huge burden on the regular working person who is busting their butt every day and the politicians are giving them the middle finger there is a legitimate labor draw bringing people over, when there are jobs available. apply for a soil lump without creating the fake crisis. >> laura: so 1800 people coming to the border, crossing the border illegally with kids just on monday is not a crisis? what i'm talking about is the fact this has been turned into. it's going to take years to build t it's not going to be
11:15 pm
built tomorrow there is a crisis. >> laura: we could be working with those countries to make sure there's ways to apply for a soil lump >> laura: we reached some agreement. i think we actually reached some agreement on one point. that's where people should apply for a soil lump. the president i hope he's listening tonight. thank you for joining us luis, mark and dan. panel was fantastic. >> president trump: you have thousands and thousands of people coming from guatemala, from honduras, and el salvador. they march up through mexico. by the way, if we didn't have walls in those areas in some cases that we put up, in many cases where we are reinforce odd, in many cases where our it great military helped us with barbed wire, you would have people pouring in. they don't pour in. >> laura: well that was the president the other night spelling out the dangers that are involved inside these caravans that make their way
11:16 pm
from central america through mexico to our southern border. tonight we have word that yet another caravan is forming one, of course that our next guest says could be the biggest yet. jik me now guatemala secretary of the intelligence, marrow, [ speaking foreign language ] good to have thank you on. what do we need to know here? you've been warning about this for years, actually. a lot of people think about central america, i've been there a lot as you know, spent a lot of time in salvador and guatemala. american people are like why can't we get a little more help from our friends in guatemala or el salvador or honduras? why the transit allowed from honduras, you guys are letting them through, they're making their way to mexico, why? first of all thank you for having me laura. i think it's not completely to
11:17 pm
say we're just allowing them through. guatemala signed with different countries of central america treaty that allows the central american citizens to fulfill its prosecute into american territory under the condition -- >> laura: there's a guatemala and mexico board we are they report at the border. this is a different situation. what happened there was a violent over powering of our police forces and of our border. unfortunately these people, the organizers of this care ear van put little kids, babies, women near the front and started pushing them against our police forces. we need it take care of their human rights, dignity, their lives. obviously it was either the lives of those people, of those innocence or allowing them into our territory. president morales ordered the security forces to set up different check points. we ended up returning more than

6500 hon did you reince back to honduras that were illegally in guatemala in these caravans. >> laura: you guys arrested 100 isis suspects back in the fall. they were not part of the caravan, that was erroneously reported. but they were arrested in guatemala? actually these are special interest aliens. >> laura: it's reported as isis, but these are people from countries that are special interest aliens and some of them with possible links. >> laura: possible links correct to terrorism organizations. >> laura: so that's a lot of people in guatemala yes >> laura: that you guys found. is there a concern at all that through the caravan, other people can slip in? we know ms13 has slipped into the caravan and mini cartel forces have made their way into caravans in mexico. that's the reports we're getting those are parts of the threats and risks that come with the caravans.
11:19 pm
think about them, they have been weapon eyes did. these poor people have been weapon eyes did as literally political tools of socialist movements throughout lat tin america that are coming toward the united states. >> laura: political activists are pushing these caravans correct. >> laura: this group pueblo sin fronteras in the united states they have one particular kind of plead organizer. he is the individual that is a problem. and he's been i believe he was arrested down there, in mexico. they're part of the coaching squads who coach everybody to say they have a credible fear that is correct. >> laura: why is central america being dee pop pu late not so much dee populated. all these leftist activists with the purpose of undermining conservative movements both in the united states and in our countries are really weaponizing these people in need. offering them a false opportunity in the united

states. and they're falling for it. >> laura: yeah. what about this other caravan? what can you tell us? it's amassing, it's coming through the column buy an jungle into panama. >> laura: colombian jungle? it's coming from south america from south america into panama. >> laura: any venezuela ans hooking into the caravans and africans. we shared the video. >> laura: 30,000 strong wants? that's their purpose. that's what they want. now there's around 1000t there's another caravan forming with the same intent, being coached and weaponized by these leftist movements. >> laura: wacko oh i want to the play something, this is an american commentator, this is what he says about our wall and whether there's any crisis. let's watch history will really frown on the republicans. you know you just give one instance. how about sending troops down
11:21 pm
when there is no caravan coming? sending american troops down literally like tinker toy soldiers? we can go on and on and on. they stand by. to me, you know, you see what you get with trump. >> laura: okay. so he was talking about the caravan there, not the wall. no caravans, there are no caravans probably they're watching the wrong channel. you need to watch fox news more. >> laura: there's no caravans. no crisis. do you see it as a crisis in guatemala with people coming through? definitely it was a crisis for us. we had to deploy over 3000 strong police officers, our military, emt's, first responders, throughout our borders trying to stop the illegal flow of migrants. we had to check on them and make sure they were -- >> laura: we're going to keep checking with you. we have to work together our countries to get this to stop president morales would love to meet president trump and find

turned down the money knowing full well that the final cost could be a lot more, could be double or triple the original projection. they didn't want to be left holding the bag. two of the most reliably democrat states in america, hawaii and california, gladly took the money. california received grants of $3.5 billion to connect san francisco and los angeles. meaning 100 plus miles of high speed rail had to go through the central valley's beautiful farm lands. as with so many liberal pipe dreams a myriad of problems dogged this project from the start. the original cost projection for the san francisco to l.a. track was $45 billion. but soon the estimate jumped to $77 billion! now two years ago the l.a. times diagnosed the situation accurately saying the california system is being built by an independent authority that has
