kevin farias recieved a scholarship for flying lessons and today was his first one. our elisa raffa rode along with him and has more. intro: it was a gorgeous morning to be outside, and an day to be up flying in the skies. but for 14 year old heelan this was more than just a plane ride, this was the first step in fullfilling his dream.nat sound plane "how you feeling?" elisa raffa abc9 ne says kevin farias, 14 year old flight student. kevin farias is just 14 years old but he's known that he's wanted to be a pilot since he was 10. the local chapter of the experimental aircraft association has awarded kevin a scholarship for ground school and flight lessons to help him achieve that goal... a dream inspired by his dad. kevin's father was also a pilot for the navy, and after sharing the same passion with his son, the farias sent kevin to military school whwhe he could learn aviatiti. "i am most ctain that i am making him& the proudest dad ever. my mom too, because she also wanted to t me in
be like my dad" says old flight student. working hard towards his dream for a few years now, taking classes on aviation, physics, and even some weather. he hopes to fly large cargo planes one day, and work for the navy, just like his dad. noon until 5pm. jess after what was originally guessed to be another close race between clinton and sanders, hillary and her campaign solidified a solid win in tonight's south carolina democratic primary. clinton and her campaign supporters were ecstatic with tonight's n clutching a total of 39 delegates over sanders 14 total delegates. the final voter perctage for hillary was 73.5% to sanders 26%. in addition to taking some jabs at donald trump's campaign...clinton thanked all her supporters in tonight's victory speech.
