averaging 5 degrees above average with only a few more days left and more mild temperatures, no doubt it will go down to the warmest octobers in history on record. temperatures across the state today clouds in eastern iowa kept temperatures in the 60s 74 the high temperature in cedar rapids a little less clouds off to the south and west where temperatures were in the low 80s if you can believe it or not, south central iowa in fact today is 74, high temperature here in cedar rapids was a 13th day of 70 degrees most since the year 2000, typically between 7 and 8 days of above 70 degrees so has been a warm october. mostly cloudy skies across eastern iowa, keep that in the forecast tonight, all of the midwest, mostly cloudy ahead of
