weapon and demanding money. detective ed crosby heard this same story four times now. >> i have a gun. you have 30 seconds to give me blank. whether it's money or in the case of the luckies robbery or medication he was after. >> this lucky store was the third target last wednesday. a spree that began at a quick stop and then a gas sags. >> this 7-eleven was the fourth one. it is significant that thus far the robber has yet to show his weapon. >> there's more state prison time that comes behind that. significantly more than if he simply says he has one. >> you don't think this guy actually knows the law do you? >> he might know that much. >> pedaluma police are looking for what appears to be a white male, 6 feet tall 180 pounds and based on these photos a master of disguise.

you get the call that your son is missing and find out he died as a result of a traffic accident. we'll continue to update this news on the news at 5:00. >> we do need to move on now and take a look at our weather as we begin this work week. >> yeah, coming up toward the end of the month another record low it seems for the state of california and in san francisco in particular in march. >> that's right. we're near record low amounts of precipitation for the season, for the month, rather. and the month has just over 30 hours left. so we're not likely to improve much in that category. here's a look at live doppler 7 hd. clear skies across the bay area right now. no hint of actual measurable rain in sight although there's a chance of spotty drizzle overnight. let's take a look now out over san francisco. you can see a few puffs of low clouds drifting by as well as a few high clouds. these are forecast features. patchy morning drizzle is possible but not enough to add

to our monthly rainfall totals. gusty winds will develop by tomorrow afternoon and it will be sunny and milder thursday and friday. here's our satellite radar composite composite. it's weakening a bit and bringing cooler air behind it. here's our photograph animation starting tonight. a few clouds sweep by again. mainly near the coastline. not enough to be a complicated factor. by afternoon, tomorrow, we'll see sunny skies and here's our wind gust animation. winds gusting between 25 and 35 miles per hour. by early afternoon we'll see winds gusting over 35 miles per hour on the coast and then later in the afternoon about 5:00 or so winds gusting over 40 miles per hour in some coastal locations. 25 miles per hour at that time and san francisco 24 and oakland and then into the evening hours we go.

remaining gusty so repair for strong winds over the next 24 hours for sure. overnight low temperatures will be mainly in the upper 40s to low 50s with areas of fog near the coast and tomorrow afternoon look for highs in the low 70s in the south bay. windy and cool on the coast with highs in the upper 50s. 64 will be the high tomorrow. upper 60s to 70s. 60s in the east bay. the inland eastbay will have highs. it remains breezy and mild on wednesday and then milder weather across the board on thursday and friday as the coastal temperatures come up into the 60s a bit and we'll get increasing cloudiness over the weekend. partly cloudy and pleasant on sunday which is easter sunday. highs will range sunday from upper 50s at the coast to about 70 inland and we have no rainfall in sight. just a dry breezy mild pattern.

actor harrison ford is out of the hospital following a plane crash last month. he was spotted driving in los

angeles on saturday. authorities investigating the march 5th crash said the plane's engine failed after take off. >> for the first time in his golf career tiger woods is no longer considered one of the world's top 100 golfers. the latest rankings show woods dropped to 104th in the world. the 14 time major champion debuted in the top 100 in 1996. he spent 683 weeks at the top of the rankings but injuries and poor play and off the course issues has lead to the decline. he hasn't played since early february. the word is tiger is hoping to return to play in the masters next month. chris mullen is a legend at st. johns and the basketball hall of famer is returning to take over as head coach of the red storm. he helped build the big east into a hoops power conference in the early 1980s and st. johns battles with georgetown. they were classics in the day. he was drafted by the warriors

and turned them into contenders. he was known for his amazing conditioning and great jump shots. spent 13 years with golden state and played on the dream team with michael jordan and company that won the olympic gold medal. he later became the warrior's general manager. advisor to the sacramento kings and takes over for steve that lead the storm to the ncaa tournament but couldn't workout an extension with the school. >> big news for dancing with the stars fans and those cheering on noah galloway. >> he was planning on using a prosthetic arm. he has been practicing around the clock with his partner but just announced tonight he decided against using the prosthetic for tonight's performance. >> the problem is me getting used to it. i haven't worn an arm and i'm not used to this technology. it's adoptapting to it. >> if you put a lot of weight on it it will break. >> this isn't the week we should

family members of a missing uc berkeley student tell us vazquez was found dead near the campus. he was last seen leaving a fraternity party at usc. he was part of the soccer team and the coach says the entire team is grieving. >> eloi was a wonderful teammate and very close to all of his players players. our guys are grieving pretty hard right now. we have to keep supporting them. >> tiffany wilson is covering the story and tweets he was

fatally struck by a car in l.a. his body identified this afternoon. tiffany will have a live report coming up on abc 7 news at 5:00. >> a little known plant is producing tab water for 340,000 bay area customers. abc 7 news reporter will show us how it's helping to stretch the water supply also as well coming up on abc 7 news at 5:00. >> the top law enforcement official launches an investigation into the troubling charges of wrong doing at the sheriff and police departments. the latest accusations have been leveled at the police crime lab. live at the hall of justice with the latest. >> well, the district attorney was police chief 5 years ago during the first scandal at the police crime lab. his administration was responsible for bringing drug testing at the lab back into compliance and now he is investigating the lab again plus other troubling issues

. >> in my entire 30 years of law enforcement this is the worst allegations i have seen. >> his task force will look into allegations by inmates in the county jail accusing sheriff's deputies of forcing them to fight other prisoners. the probe extends to the police department in it's own scandal. text messages that cops were exchanging with the former officer that was convicted of public corruption and now a third investigation into the san francisco police department crime lab. a criminalist is charged with altering dna evidence years agatha lead to a conviction in a criminal trial. >> she would testify about the results and later on in this trial we learned there was another interpretation of that test that was done and that interpretation excluded our client.

>> the 2010 drug testing at the crime lab was shutdown when criminalist deborah madden admitted she stole cocaine evidence for her personal use. the scandal forced prosecutors to dismiss more than 1,000 cases. the chief says this time he is looking at 1,500 cases in which the criminalist and her supervisor were involved in. >> looking to do a complete audit of any work this criminalist touched and any work that her supervisor approved. if we do discover there's any problems all of those cases will be reworked. >> documents show the criminalist flunked a regular proficiency test and her supervisor failed to catch it. both are on personal leave. >> former san francisco board of supervisor wants his old seat back. he announced that he'll run for the district 3 seat he held from 2001 until 2009. the district serves the north central portion of the city including china town north beach and the financial

district. he's the president of an environmental nonprofit which secures water rights for native american tribes. the seat is held by julie christianson that was appointed to replace david that won election to the state assembly. >> a survey shows several topical cal elected office holders including governor brown used personal e-mail accounts to conduct government business as hilary clinton did when she was secretary of state. the governor occasionally uses private e-mail to contact staffers while he conducts most state business on a personal account. they admit using personal e-mail. not clear if they're retained as public records or are subject to disclosure. >> a central valley firefighter is in critical but stable condition this afternoon after falling through the roof of a burning home. the frezno fire department just held a press conference updating the condition of pete durn.

he is heavy sedated and breathing on a respirator. he climbed through a roof to ventilate the blaze and the roof gave way. within minutes fellow firefighters had torn down the garage and were able to pull him out but he suffered second and third degree burns across his entire body. >> the co-pilot in a german wings plane that crashed had been treated for suicidal tendencies. >> the new revelations are chilling. >> the treatment of a psycho therapist. >> the new time line shocking. >> before he got his pilot's license. >> it turns out he was treated for having suicidal tendencies even before receiving his pilot's license in 2013. since then authorities say there were more doctors visits excusing him from work.

he hid evidence of his medical issues from his employers including prescriptions and a sick note torn up inside of his part. >> but these documents don't show any hints of being suicidal or being aggressive. >> the 27-year-old shared this apartment with his girlfriend believed to be a math teacher at a nearby school. his mother played the organ at a church in his hometown. the pastor admits he did not know her well but spoke to her after the crash. >> we are not responsible for that, what our children do. >> and now the focus for investigators not only his psychological state but also the voice recorder that captured the final moments before he crashed the plane. according to the german paper build, you can hear the captain trying to return to the cockpit shouting for god's sake open the door. the last thing captured, the passengers screaming. despite the latest findings

a very dangerous high speed chase in houston texas today sped through busy residential neighborhoods forcing schools to go on lock down. at one point the driver speeds past school buses and goes on to the grassy median to get away from traffic. they tried to slow this guy down with a spike stipulate but he dodged that.

jet blue is apologizing for a system wide computer outage that caused massive nationwide delays. long lines like this clogged airport terminals across the country. it prevented customers from getting boarding passengers or checking bags and forcing agents to manually fill out boarding passes. took jet blue about three hours to get it's computers back online but by then the damage was done. >> gates and slot versus to do with the flow of traffic, especially in and out of major airports like jfk and that gives an effect that will echo back and forth for the rest of the day. for their system it will be at least two days before things calm down. >> no word yet from jet blue on exactly what caused the computers to go down. >> well an old favorite is returning to ford's luxury car

car line-up 13 years after production stopped. it's unveiling the new lincoln continental at the auto show this week. they stopped making continentals in 2002 when sales dropped. now it's returning. smaller grill, sleeker look new technology. it goes on sale next year. >> mcdonald's is taking a step toward serving breakfast all day long. they plan to test all daybreak day breakfast. they usually test in a limited number of locations to workout the kinks before they decide whether to roll something out nationally. this move would be a major shift for mcdonald's. they have stressed how limited grill space hampers their ability to serve all daybreak fast. >> now time for ask finney. michael is here to answer questions sent to him on twitter, facebook, or e-mail. dianao. asks do you have a good resource for selling old cell

join us here at 11:00. stub hub versus the warriors. the new legal fight we're learning about today and it involves season ticket holders. we're joined life now with the details. leann. >> very windy out here. well, this is an antitrust case that will be heard in federal court. there's many reasons why season ticket holders can't attend a game and many of them go on stub hub and other sights to do so. now the warriors and ticket master are saying if you use stub hub, you will pay. when she was told tickets to a warrior's basketball game were sold out he was directed to buy them through ticket master. >> ticket master or nba >> because. >> because it's more secure. >> ticket master and the warriors say they want to protect fans from potentially

buying fake tickets. that has ticket resell companies like stub hub steaming mad. the san francisco based company is now suing both ticket master and the warriors. stub hub seeks to stop unfair and illegal anticompetitive business practices that prevent fans from deciding how they want to resell their tickets. the golden state warriors and ticket master share fees from the team's resell market. the warriors have threatened season ticket holders with taking their seats away if they resell them on stub hub or through any broker that's not approved by the team. >> it's given me an ulcer for a long time. go even route for the warriors anymore. >> he is accusing ticket master of being monopolistic. he has been a season ticket holder for years. >> i tried to renew my season tickets. i don't know who i am. just gives me something like we don't want you this year.

>> stub hub now says listings for warrior tickets are down by 80%. >> well speaking of the warriors they're winning so often by so much there's a chance it might hurt the mvp chances because he rests in the fourth quarter a lot. meanwhile they're putting up huge numbers. he was just named western conference player of the week after averaging 30 points in 8 assists per game. golden state went 4 and 0 last week. he leads in 3s for a third consecutive season and connected on an astounding 63% of attempts last week. he lead in scoring all four of those games. 60 and 13. the first 30 win season and franchise 69 year history and they won nine straight games overall. they are steam rolling to the playoffs. thousands of wrestling fans in the bay area can get one more taste of the wwe tonight. wrestlemania wrapped up last

night but the wwe will film it's weekly program monday night raw at the center in san jose in a couple of hours. abc 7 news was there as people were lining up this afternoon for what the wwe called the biggest raw show ever. shy of 77,000 fans were packed in for wrestle mania 31 last night. it's a record in attendance. it also became the highest grossing paper view event in wrestling history as it grossed $12.6 million. that's going to do it for this edition of abc 7 news at 4:00. the news at 5:00 begins right now. >> we are heart broken. we're devastated. >> the news no one wanted to hear. a athlete dead. we're live as they wrap up an emotional news conference. >> many items in the home belong to the kids. >> painful.

for spring break with his teammates. his grandma said he didn't want to leave his younger brothers. >> i said go down and have some fun and come back. your brothers will be looking forward to you know being here with you and he left really halfheartedly about leaving and i dropped him off at the bart station and he said i love you nana and i said i love you too. that was it. >> early saturday morning vazquez told friends he wanted to leave the frat party and go to the beach. they tried to stop him but he left. during two phone calls she said he sounded confused and asked for help. >> he was really worried and didn't know what to do. >> eventually he hung up. he was hit by the car just seven minutes later. today the freshman soccer player was remembered by his coach and teammate. >> his impact was huge. certainly on me. >> although sometimes he was soft spoken he
