>> well, a close call for a fedex driver in southern louisiana during a powerful tornado. she spotted the funnel cloud in her mirror and tried to take shelter inside a hardware store. but the door was locked and barricaded with sandbags. so the driver hid behind a soda machine outside the store. it fell over, and the tornado all but destroyed that store. but the fedex driver just fine. >> dramatic. wow. and this certainly was an adventure in moving. near detroit, a high-speed chase of an allegedly stolen u-haul van began on an interstate highway, then moved to local roads. the chase continued even after the truck's tires blew out, based on obstacles police had placed in the road.

finally a deputy banged into the van with his cruiser and the truck came to a halt. but i'm sure the cops didn't help with the moving at that point. well, on the high seas a troubled cruise ship is racing back to the home port. it was in new jersey. this is the second time it's coming back home. >> we're talking about royal caribbean's "anthem of the seas." damage after charging into hurricane force winds last month. it is now being forced to turn around yet again. here's abc's gio benitez. >> reporter: for the second time this month, the "anthem of the seas" is heading home early, but royal caribbean says it's because of the weather, not because ten people a day are reporting symptoms of norovirus. the cruise line tweeting that a "severe forecast storm" is to blame and that norovirus in a small percentage of 6,000 passengers "didn't affect the decision to return." an abc news forecast map shows the ship now racing to beat the storm, and arrive on wednesday. ahead of that oncoming storm that will hit on friday. this just weeks after the very

good morning. i'm reena ninan. >> and i'm kendis gibson. here are some of the top headlines we're following this morning on "world news now." super tuesday showdown. donald trump and hillary clinton are surging in the polls leaving their rivals in the dust. as a dozen states head out to vote and tempers are flaring with a treasure trove of delegates at stake. a full report coming up. scientists say they may have found the first proof that the zika virus causes temporary paralysis based on an outbreak of the virus two years ago on the island of tahiti. the controversial contraceptive e sure will be given the fda's most serious warning but the device won't be full butted from the market. thousands of women complained about the severe pain and bleeding associated with e sure. >> a new study says lack of sleep encourages can overeating

national poll. she made a campaign stop in norfolk, virginia, where she aligned herself with president obama and touched on everything from health care to the economy. former president bill clinton held a late night rally in massachusetts calling on his white supporters to embrace change. bernie sanders was also in is massachusetts packing in another large crowd of supporters and he's questioning whether clinton can really bring about change. sanders just received a big financial boost raising $5 million yesterday alone. he simply asked his network of small donors for the money and the cash flowed right in. stay with abc news for comprehensive coverage of super tuesday's vote. our political team will be here tonight at 10:00 eastern. we'll have a complete wrap up tomorrow morning. >> on the eve of super tuesday, the state department has released the last of hillary clinton's e-mails. that brings the total released to about 52,000 messages. clinton has maintained that none of the e-mails was marked as

hotel where he was staying. >> i am begging to the korean people and government for my forgiveness. >> he was detained in january. while on a tour with a group that specializes in travel to north korea. in a statement to uva's newspaper, his family who has had no contact with him since the incident, said we won't know for sure about his condition until we have a chance to speak with him. now past detainees have often recanted statements they claimed they were forced to say under duress but until otto warm bier is home, we won't know if that was the case here. >> an ohio teenager is expected to appear in juvenile court this morning charged with two counts of attempted murder. police say he opened fire in his school cafeteria hitting two students. two others were hurt while running away. one student heard it all unfold. >> the first shot went and kind of paused five seconds and bang, bang, bang.

"dancing with the stars" host erin andrews broke down yesterday. >> she's suing the nashville marriott hotel for $75 million after she was secretly filmed in her room. abc's eva pilgrim has more. >> you know your body. and i saw it for two seconds and i was like, oh, my god. and i shut it down. >> reporter: erin andrews breaking down in court today, as she relived the moment she discovered a naked video of herself online. >> dad, i'm naked all over the internet. i don't know what it is. >> reporter: the popular sportscaster and cohost of "dancing with the stars" is suing the owner and manager of this nashville marriott, where she was secretly filmed by a stalker in 2008. the video has been viewed nearly 17 million times. andrews' mother, paula, described consoling her daughter. >> there was no calming her down. it's -- it's a nightmare that doesn't stop.

>> reporter: andrews is also suing the man who filmed her, michael david barrett, a former insurance executive. she claims the hotel made it easy for him to track her down and film her on his cell phone through a peephole he modified. >> i picked up the house phone and i called the operator and asked, could i have erin andrews' room. they connected me. so that i knew what room she was in. >> reporter: the hotel calls barrett a criminal who tricked them into gaining access. barrett pled guilty to stalking in 2010 and was sentenced to 30 months in prison. >> they could have stopped this and i'm so angry. >> erin andrews wasn't the only woman michael barrett secretly recorded in a hotel room. he posted at least ten more videos online. eva pilgrim, abc news, nashville, tennessee. >> and some credit the fact she says that "dancing with the stars" helped her get her peace back because she was back on stage. it seems like such a long road for her. i don't think people realize how difficult it's been. >> it's been several years but she's still dealing with it. she said afterwards, her espn colleagues were great.
