crimestoppers./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > a woman is injured and two people are behind bars after a shooting at a pahrump casino. it happened at the pahrump nugget just after midnight. police say 46 year old lee daniels fired at a woman at a cafe after they got into a fight. then... police say daniels left the property with another woman.. 36 year old desiree lewis. they were arrested a short time later in las vegas. the pair face several charges including attempted murder and firing a weapon inside a casino. the victim is recovering at u-m-c./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly stabbing from last month. 30 year old brandon olds... faces one count of murder. he was taken into custody yesterday near paradise and twain. olds is accused of killing kyth johnson on december 16th near harmon and boulder highway. police believe the stabbing stemmed from an argument.

unfinished fontainebleu could soon be sold. the commercial real estate firm handling the sale says they are very confident the skyscraper will be sold in 2016 and a deal could be in place within 60 days. the executive in charge of selling the property says it's a time consuming process... as they make sure buyers who have expressed interest have the necessary assets to complete a deal this big: ((john knott/executive vice president cbre: " they have, call it $50 million of their own equity, but they bring a fund in with them and the fund says we're prepared to support this bid and then all the sudden it becomes a highly credible bider because they demonstrated the financial capacity with the support of this multi billion dollar fund as their partner.")) ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > c-e-s 2016 is now a wrap. since wednesay... the tech industry's biggest names have showed off cutting edge products. the annual event takes place at the las vegas convention center and draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. 8 news now spoke with some of the people that went to c- e-s about what they thought of this year's convention. while some had a blast... others weren't so impressed: (( chris velazco/engadget honestly, it feels a bit of a let down. we see a lot of buzz going into these shows in recent years and this time the buzz wasn't really there. kevin east/network engineer it was much bigger than i thought it was going to be. a lot of new stuff. a lot of automation, a lot of drone this year.

pittsburgh steelers are moving forward in the nfl playoffs... after an exciting win over the bengals saturday... and the may have some newborns to thank for helping cheer them on. dave crawley explains./// >what better way to celebrate the steelers opening round playoff game, than to blanket babies in black and gold? six one-day-old infants (coincidentally matching the steelers six super bowl trophies) are carefully swaddled in the famous terrible towel. it's a playoff tradition at magee-womens hospital. jeff hodges is director of nursing operations.
