several different travel sites. local tourism leaders say they're expecting 307- thousand people to spend the holiday here in town ... that's nearly 1- percent more than last year. they're expected to pump 206- and a half million dollars .. which is also more than last year. ((patrick walker)) >> all those people are flooding into the valley for the holiday ... on the heels of las vegas's record breaking month of visitors. tourism leaders say more than 3 point 8 million people traveled here during july./// ((kirsten joyc town this weekend might not be here just to celebrate labor day ... it's also a big weekend for sports fans. turn this weekend.... after another hot day yesterday at 104. sun is not up quite yet. ................ temps right now are in the 80s and a few 70s showing up. .......... the east valley... with heavy rain and high winds. ............ temps still above normal in the low 100s will fall to 90s and even upper 80s by monday.

because after a while, they decided to take a dip in someone's pool. after they played in the water, the trio did a little dumpster diving ... and wandered into another neighborhood.... where they found yet another pool to play in. at one point, they were chased from one of the pools by a little dog .. and a cub also broke a accidentally falling in it./// sherry, how's the weather? we tried to make grass grow with green shot and we sliced and diced a lot food with something called the perfect slicer. we lit up the night sky ... kinda with star shower for the holidays. we thawed food ....and got a middle school science lesson with the e-z thaw ... we shaked our selves thin with the shake weight. and later opened up cans with no hands .. after lots and lots of tries... thanks to the toucan. we tried to take some scratches out of furniture with old amish. we held a birthd tune and did a little dance... and almost set the station on fire. we've fixed things for 5 seconds with the celebs from american restorations. the paw stars celebs ... took pics with us too when we tested out mpow lenses. we hung this autograph from britney spears .. or at least we tried too ... when we gave level hangers a whirl... and i talked with a turtle when we gave amazon's alexa a try.

and speaking of hair ... we've done some of that too ... i've engraved things .. and even gone make up free in the name of science .. or at least to test out miracle creams. i've scrubbed toilets and tubs to test out hard water wands ... cooked with copper and steel pans in an iron chef competition .. massaged folks las vegas style ... blown bubbles with kids .. made them ice cream gotten creamed by a water balloon too. i've fought fires .. used fih in love with my shoe solemate. i tried out a clever cutter ... and a clever car seat ... tested out flex seal .. and yes .. we even made a boat just like on t-v ... made some veggie spaghetti ... and bbq'd on a miracle grill ... all to try it before you buy it ... but now it's time for you to decide ... which test was best so you know what you have to do now right??!! ...

((kirsten joyce)) >> the state board of education unanimously voted to reorganize ccsd. it will take most of the control and decision making away from the a central district and hand it over to principals, teachers and parents.
