controversial democracy prep. ((nia wong)) >> that's right ... democracy prep officials will be at the school today to talk to staff... and parents say they will be out there this morning-- along with students-- to protest the possible partnership. >> hundreds showed up to agassi prep's governing board meeting last night.. not 1 person was in support of a democracy prep. this really only came to light for parents last week... but democracy prep representatives tell us this collaboration has been in the works since march. agassi prep's governing board is scheduled to vote on the partnership december 13th. much of the controversy comes from democracy prep's strict policies... that those from democracy prep say are being taken out of context: ((katie mcduffy/democracy prep: "i think a lot of the policies and hallmarks of democracy prep are being painted with a very very broad brush that don't capture

((brian loftus)) among those likely to vote on election day- trump takes the ten point spread- leading 48 to 38 percent... in our senate race-democrat catherine cortez masto is leading republican joe heck 45 to 43 percent.. channel 8 at 8:30 pm./// demetria, what's driving people crazy? demetria obilor this past july, henderson started construction on a one-point-2 million project to improve paseo verde parkway between st. rose pkwy. and green valley pkwy. the past few weeks, there have been lane restrictions along paseo verde parkway for paving, utility adjustments and stri henderson says roadway striping will be finished tomorrow. crews have been working to fix the asphalt along this stretch, remove median islands and on the sidewalk ramps, so that they meet the americans with disabilities act standards. landscaping and lane striping are also part of the project's scope. this project was funded through fuel revnue indexing, aka the gas tax which ends in december. clark county residents will be able to vote on an extension of the tax in the upcoming
