some of the elementary schools include... treem and thorpe... staton... smalley... taylor and alamo. if your kid goes to any of the schools up for re-zoning... members of the commission say a notice will be sent out to parents during winter break. public comment would take place in january and february... giving parents the opportunity to let the commission know if they agree or not with their decision. ((michael stevens)) later next year... these recommendations will go to the board for a possible vote. kirsten? k parents at agassi prep are outraged over possible changes to the school. dozens of moms and dads, along with students..... protested in front of the campus today. this comes after the governing board voted yesterday to move forward with a partnership with an out of state institution, despite extending a vote to finalize the changes. school leaders are citing financial issues.

specifically admit the killing was premeditated, willful and deliberate. this morning...there were issues bringing in experts for the state and defense on the same the setting of righetti's trial date was pushed to next week. otremba's family was also in court this morning and say they plan to return when a date is expected to be set next tuesday. from a high school football game. witnesses say he had waved a confederate flag at a group of black spectators during the national anthem. he also had a previous domestic violence incident. police say they are also finding evidence tying him to the police ambush: ((sgt. paul parizek/des moines p.d. we did find a gun we do believe was probably the firearm used in the attacks )) ((kirsten joyce)) >> the two officers killed were urbandale officer justin martin and des moines sergeant anthony beminio flags and ballooons paying tribute to the two men have been piling up outside the police stations./// ((kirsten joyce)) a washoe county transportation agency says it lost more than a million dollars in an email fraud scheme. the northern regional transportation commission says they became aware of the scam on october 27-th. they say they received an email from what appeared to be a vendor asking for an electronic payment of one point four million dollars... and they transferred the money.
