17-year-old isaiah meas and a 16-year-old everyone knew as jr. >> he loved everyone. you never know when they are going to be gone. >> reporter: police say they were killed on 880 in hayward near the onramp. his family says isaiah lost control going one direction and apparently tried to correct and slammed into a pick up truck. isaiah died on the scene. two passengers passengers were rushed to the hospital. jr., who was a line backer at the school who knew how to get on the tackle. his friends are remembering him as a personality that was larger than life. >> he was the dynamite of our family. a great brother, a great cousin. it's just, it's just a cold day

in union city, you know? >> reporter: as for jr., his mother tells me he was a good hearted kid and that he will be missed. in union city, joe vazquez kpix 5. ampses are looking for a shooter on 880. the car hit two cars and took off. the car was later involve ned a shooting on the exit ramp. the police say the bullets did not hit anyone. the suspect got away. there have been four shootings in that area. a couple of them deadly. the mayor is asking for pay for cameras. the east coast is expected high waves as tropical storm hermine is passing. >> right now listen to the life

guards. >> reporter: the governor is warning about the dangers about tropical storm hermine. millions of residents are expected to continue feeling the effects of hermine. ocean city maryland, the officials warned the residents not to be fooled about the apparent improvement in weather. >> the rip currents are an issue. it's always following events like this that are our biggest concern because people feel it's okay to go back in, but that's when it's the most dangerous. >> reporter: the tropical storm warning has been canceled, but there's concerns. >> there's a possibility that there could be, i repeat could be challenges not limited to, loss of power and issues.

>> reporter: one person died in north carolina saturday after high winds from hermine. the officials have not determined if the storm was the cause. and closer to home, tropical storm newton is heading toward baja, california. it is time to get a check on the bay area. >> that means we are heading out right after the show. >> right? >> we have investigative reporting to do. later this week, the police commission will meet at san francisco city hall to go over the process. the commission will then choose three candidates to submit to the mayor. the wife of a local man is trying to track him down. he was supposed to pick up the kids from school, but never showed up. murray's wife says the car is there, but the bike is gone. she did not want to show her face on camera. she said it's ripping her apart. there's two boys missing. we want him bush two boys miss him. we want him back. >> investigators say murray has no known health issues. in san jose, the police believe a convicted sex o funder is trying to -- offender

is trying to grab women off of the streets and get them in his car. here's more. >> it is surprising. i have been living here for about two years and this is the first time i have ever heard anything like that. it is surprising. >> reporter: neighbors just learning two women were attacked in broad dray light. the most -- daylight. the most recent event happening thursday just after 5:00. police believe this man dave russell to be the attacker. he has a history of violent attacks against women and he is considered extremely dangerous. >> i am sad that this would happen over here. it's not even safe for me. >> reporter: this man owns a restaurant near meridian avenue near where another attack happened. police say the man followed the woman trying to talk to her

before attacking. covering her mouth and trying to drag her into a newer nissan rogue with no plates. >> it's surprising to me because we don't hear about the incidents happening in willow glen. >> reporter: in both cases, the women were able to fight off the attacker. however, russell also escapessed. >> residents say they want cameras up in the neighborhood. a new poll shows donald trump trailing to clinton. a poll shows her lead ing in the 13 most competitive states including arizona. voters are still concerned about clinton's explanation about why she used a private

accused of shooting two officers in a fresno county jail. the lobby-- where the shooting c1 an ex-convict is back behind bars accused of shooting two officers in a fresno county jail. the lobby where it happened reopened last night. the police say the suspect walk into the area on saturday and asked to see someone. then he started shooting. officials say two officers were shot in the head and neck. both are in critical condition. the police are investigating to decide if they should make any security changes. at lax, dozens of passengers panicked when they saw police when their guns drawn. an arrest got travelers worried and 15 people rushed past security without being screened. one woman says the whole encounter was intense. >> there was a lot of police

officers including one with an assault rifle. >> and others went outside of the emergency exit. in about two hours, the police restored peace and secured the suspects. lax has another scare last week when a bang was mistaken for gunfire. and an issue in a major port after hanj shipping company declared bankruptcy. the port on long beach won't let them in because they don't want to be stuck with it. they are one of the world's largest shippers carrying things like clothing, toys and electronics. can ships will be used as long as full payment is made in
