bay. busy conditions out of san jose, blocked the number 3 lane from the left, 10- 15 minutes to get through that portion. elsewhere, an accident as well, around 87 northbound, at 280, lanes are blocked there also. busy morgan hill this morning. the south bay, stop and go conditions, working on the northbound side, new wreck reported northbound, 280, edgewood, two cars, right shoulder. the accident along 01s broadway, over to the right side of the roadway. live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. traffic is backed up. coming out of the maze, traffic is doing well on, southbound, not bad. delays in hayward and free month. typical slow and go -- ouof ard towards e peninsula on the westbound side.
traffic busy at the toll plaza. no major delays. dublin out of the pass to the dublin interchange, give yourself 40 minutes to the 680 interchange. following breaking news, police are investigating a deadly bus crash. this is happening in arkansas, southwest of little rock. one child is dead and 40 are injured, most of them are children. state troopers are questioning the bus driver. the tennessee team was on their way home from a championship game it played over the weekend when the bus left the road and turned over. it's not clear what led up to the crash. reports of a double shooting in san francisco. katie nielson is live in the mission with the very latest. >> reporter: we are here at
16th and valencia, the scene of that shooting. police just re-opened this intersection an hour and a half ago. investigators had this area taped off with crime scene tape as officers looked for evidence in this case. they were searching through trash cans and using flashlights to look for evidence on the streets. here is what we know. 1:30 this morning, possibly 2 people were shot near the intersection. it happened on valencia between 16th and 17th. both victims were taken to the hospital. we do not know their condition at this time. we do not know what led up to the shooting or any possible motive. san francisco police have not released if they have suspects in this case. police in daily city are looking for a missing 82 year old man. he was seen on thursday 5:00
p.m. at the sam tran bus in daily city. he frequents downtown san francisco and may have dementia. long time bay area talk show host has been found dead and that's according to his family that posted an update last nite on his go fund me page. the statement reads in part, it is with great sadness that the family has to announce the passing of ray, his body was found in paducah, kentucky, in a wooded area approximately a mile from where he was last seen. the 79 year old was reported missing back in november, november 10th. according to police, he was seen near a pizza parlor in paducah, kentucky. we called the police department but they have not given us the details about the discovery. if you grew up in the bay area, you knew him, he had a legendary long running talk show on kgo radio and retired 7 years ago and moved to illinois.
beginning today , the body of former esident george herbert bush will lie in state in the rotunda of the u.s. capitol building. the 41st president of the united states died friday night at the age of 94. on wednesday, a state funeral will be held in washington's national cathedral, thursday his body will be flown to texas where he will be buried nexts to his wife barbara and daughter, robin. over the weekend, former presidents including bush's son, george w bush, remembered the 1st president. >> he is going to go down as the greatest one-term president ever because of his foreign policy handling the end of the cold war, reunification of germany. >> history will be kind to him in his presidency. >> president trump declared wednesday december 5 as a national day of mourning.
president trump and first lady plan to attend wednesday's funeral. happening today, dozens of butte county schools will re- open after the campfire devastated that 28,000 students. officials shutdown all butte county schools when the fire broke out on november 8th. thoffice of education oroville to commend them for all their hard work. the campfire is blamed for 88 deaths and 25 people are unaccounted for. the fire burned 153,000-acres and destroyed 13,000 buildings. opec is losing one of its members. the small gas rich state of cutter will leave the cartel after nearly 60 years of membership. the country's state oil company cutter petroleum made the announcement in tweets sighting a shift towards natural gas.
opec members elmonitors the market. cutter will leave january 1st. if you need to regnaw your vehicle registration and want to save tomb, a self service terminal will be unveiled at the santa clara central park library. if you are like me, you try to avoid going to the dmv office. the santa clara library did a soft launch a month ago. today is the unveiling. this is the first library in the bay area to get its own kiosk and it's only the third library in the entire state to
have one. most of them have been installed in field offices or inside grocery stores. you can renew your registration on line but you would have to wait for the hard copy by mail. here, when you renew in person, you can print the registration on the spot. the kiosks come after months of public outcry about wait times that stretched in to hours. the agency had to handle the ids and voter registration. throw this crashs and people were reporting 4 to 6 hour waits. in september, governor brown ordered audit of finances and performance. that audit should be done by march. there are 151 kiosks around the state, 29 are here in the bay area. this is the newest one. the unveiling happens at 2:00 p.m. today. the california state legislator reconvenes in the first meeting of the session, new assembly members will take the oath of office and elect
