outside, cloudy. this is the mt. tam cam are right in the middle of the cloud cover. here is what we are expecting for the weather today. this morning, cloudy and mild with the averages in the '50s. this afternoon, we will keep things in dry. highs in the '60s. this evening, we will look for a slight chance of market-based principles that will spread the area wide come tomorrow morning. >>george: of the are not tracking and the hot spots. here is a look at current conditions around the bay area. it is quite surprising that even at this hour the east bay and south bay are lightly traveled with no delays. >>darya: let's get back to a developing story out of a morgan hill, they're looking of possible new evidence that was founded that could help provide a clue to what happened to the 15 year-old girl who

disappeared from her home in a morgan hill, seral mark. another massive search where hundreds of volunteers to place. they did find some things in the fields near the teenagers home. a box that said handcuff and other evidence is nearby. this area had already been searched earlier, investigators are unsure if the items, but there recently or if they have been there ever since she was missing. price here is where the items were found. here is a look at her home, where she was last seen. this is a look at where the staging area is, will tran has been there since search began. there is another search this morning at burnett elementary.

>>will: today is the fourth day of the search. so far, no volunteers have showed up. brad dennis is the search coordinator and has been leading the search for sierra says, he is intimately involved in all of this. what are your thoughts on what they found it yesterday? >> again, many search teams found different items. the committee members are responding very well with the the research they have done. they're being very responsive and reporting the right things back to law enforcement. >>will: many people believe whatever happened happened near her home, perhaps in the cul-de-sac. police have been in that area multiple that you found anything? >> one thing we're doing is going back chance to make sure all of the areas are covered. we are doing that with law-

enforcement support and oversight. there is no telling if this was something else missed the fourth floor has been a place there recently. we're going to continue to expand the search. there are going to be numerous areas that we will go back into. >>will: this is not an indictment of police officers missing information, this is without authorization from the police department to go back out there because you guys have said, with the extra eyes, you have resources of the police may not have. >> absolutely. this county has some of the best search and rescue teams in the entire west coast. again, if it was out there, they would have found it. they could have been placed there after the fact. we have a lot of searchers in the field and we are able to recover things rapidly. >>will: the evidence is being shipped to a crime lab. they will be looking at it and see if it relates to the

disappearance of zero mark. it should take about a week for the results to come back. >>darya: you can still posted on the latest information by visiting our web site as well as our twitter and facebook pages. san francisco police are looking into what led to a body being found under the bay bridge on the main street. to get some more news faster, jackie sissel is there. >>jackie: everyone has left the scene. we still have more questions than answers at harrison and a bryant, right underneath the bay bridge. there received a call at about 230 am saying that there was a possible body on the street. when they arrived with patrol officers and paramedics, but they did five to the body of an adult male. they have conducted this as a homicide. crime scene investigators along with the detectives

from the san francisco police department were out here for about four and a half hours combing over the area and collecting evidence, talking with potential witnesses. they're being very tight- lipped about any details. we have no information other than the fact that it is an adult male. they have i given us the cause of death. it is still a developing story. everyone has left the scene but we're hoping at some point we will give details. >>darya: in cases like this, if there were gunshots that would have a little flag or evidence markers, are there any indications of what the situation was? >>will: program syndicators are around at all. they clean up the seed relatively quickly. for hours really is not along of investigation for this uppercase.

why temperatures are mild side. here is a quick break down of whether for today. this morning, cloudy and mild, this afternoon some bricks of sun into the wind will pick up slightly. temperatures will max out in the mid-upper 60s. this evening we will hold on to the strong chance of sprinkles in the north bay. that probably will not happen until 1:00 p.m.. in >>george: we are not tracking any hot spots. it is friday, fairly light traffic even at this hour. here is a quick check of current conditions for the east bay and south bay and peninsula and even in the north bay. 58 westbound is still a pretty light ride not only through livermore but from dublin to castro valley. >>justine: we are watching breaking news in the kron 4 newsroom as a visa and mastercard are now letting banks across the country about a major breach from

credit card processors. they are calling the breeched massive and may involve more than 10 million compromised card numbers. both from mastercard and visa. the brief was believed to have happened between january 21st and february 25th. the information stolen could be used to make counterfeit cards. this story is just coming into the kron 4 news room. we're working to get more information and i will get you updated as soon as i have details. >>darya: a developing story in morgan hill, the search continues for evidence in the sierra lamar case. the missing teenager was last seen leaving her home but never made it to her school bus stop. this is video for mr. they were volunteers searched for a third straight day. it will be out there again today searching in the fields near her house. they did find some possible evidence, here is a look at the area of where the evidence was found.

this is where they found a box. it was a handcuff box and another piece of evidence that investigators will be looking at today. this is not too far from where she lives. they will be back in this area at searching again today. they have a command area set up over here, that is where will tran is. this is that burnett elementary school. will tran has delayed this. >>will: volunteers are pulling up, four murders of five people turned out to help find evidence. they expect even more people to show up. marc klaas says by the time this is over this could be the biggest search and his foundation.

rain. the first sprinkle will be tied around 11:00 p.m.. as we look forward, take a look. by 2:00 a.m. the shower activity gets a little more concentrated and a little more intense. you will see yellow indicating more rain activity. by 8:00 a.m. a giant swath of a moderate-heavy rain. this is a cold front that will be pushing through and will slowly work its way. as i advanced the clock to 10:00 you will see is centered over the bay. while it is here, it will give us some intense showers. during the afternoon where looking mainly for scattered showers activity that will be with us throughout the rest of the day on saturday. sunday is actually looking pretty good. dry conditions sunday and beyond. half sunday we will max out

there received a call call in when they arrived along with paramedics, they discovered the body of an adult male. crime scene investigators along with homicide detectives were on the scene for about four hours this morning. there are no details on how the victim died. this is a developing story. if we get any new information, we will pass it along. >>darya: there is going to be a press conference today to give you an update on the investigation of the speed freak killers. hundreds of human bones and fragments were found buried in an abandoned well in the linden, left there by the speed freak killers. san joaquin county sheriff's tells us there are dna results that have been sent to the california department of justice crime lab to see the connection. wesley shermantine along with herzog were the speed freak killers in the '80s and '90s.

>>george: we are updating a hot spot in the each east bay with a singular being issued for 242 southbound. your easiest way around this problem which involves a vehicle that is overturned in the left-hand lane, it is right here just past the 240 to merge just passed the highway for merge onto 42 southbound. as you can see, traffic is headed out toward highway 4 to make the southbound turn. if you do not want to wait and that traffic, you can come across here and come down 680 that way. the ride is backed up to the willow pass. believe it or not this is the first slow traffic we have seen on highway 880 for westbound. on the bay bridge there are no backups or delays. a nine minute drive time is the same as if you caught it at 2:00 a.m.. there are no problems for the upper deck. on the san mateo bridge in easy bride with a normal drive time of 13-40 minutes.

fantastic? >> i am not going to pass any judgment until the scene and the evidence are processed. stuff is found all the time. i think we have to sit back and wait. i somehow doubt that it has any significance to the case. authorities said they went out their five previous times and did not locate anything. >> that is exactly right. people do all things in situations like this. they will stage evidence, they will plant evidence, we just have to wait and see. >>mark: we will know, they're not calling it anything other than possible evidence. i can tell you that many people who are showing up and will continue to show up. so much so, they are going out and handed people if the paperwork to fill out before they get in there. they will do this before 2:00 in the afternoon. that being said, they will have to cut it off at that time, the search is only

the good news is, the sig- alert has been cancelled. the accident has finally been cleared from the south down lanes. it was right here just pass a highway turnoff that the lanes were blocked. now that it has been cleared of the back of might start to dissipate. the accident was backed up all the way to bailey. thought that has put a lot of extra pressure on highway 880 for westbound meeting over to 680. even the eastbound ride on highway 880 for turning soft on to 242, denver as well. even in the northbound side we started to slow a bit while the chp was working to clear the accident from the left-hand lane. again, all planes are over. it is likely to take some time westbound to start to dissipate. otherwise, we have had an exceptionally light commute all around the bay area this morning. the bay bridge currently has no backup or delay in the

timing of the rain coming up in my next report. >>george: now that we have cleared out our hot spot as a sig-alert we are back to light traffic conditions especially at the bridges and also around the bay area. for the east bay's and south this peninsula, you will find light traffic anywhere. enjoy the good ride. >>darya: to 9:32 a.m.. in morgan hill a developing story. it is the fourth day that volunteers are out this morning looking for clues in the disappearance of zero mar. this is video from yesterday as they searched fields around her home and it did come up with something that could be possible evidence, a box and other evidence of that investigators will be looking at. this area has already been combed over many times. they are somewhat skeptical that it will help the case,

but it cannot hurt to keep looking. that is the thought from the people out there this morning who are showing up again in that area. let's take a look at the search area where they found some of the possible evidence. this is not too far from where the zero lived and was last seen leaving her home. she never made it to her bus stop. not far from here, there is an elementary school which is where they have a staging area for the volunteers who has been showing up all week long. it will be there to the weekend as well. will tran is joining us live from the scene. >>will: hundreds of people, mothers, fathers, people can relate. most of these people are from morgan hill but some from all over the bay area. this is a line from first- time volunteers -- this is a line for first-time volunteers. it stretches down the road. the number of volunteers

wednesday morning. >>george: we are looking at a pretty good ride around the bay area, we are not tracking and hot spots. the earlier current problems in concord has completely cleared up. let's start with a look at the right on the upper deck. light traffic. a great ride on the bay bridge with an early end to the back up. the san mateo bridge ride has been a problem free all morning long. not much in the way of slow traffic at either end of the span. the golden gate has not only been an easy trip but also through marin county all morning long. a last look at the traffic maps and you will see what i mean. westbound interstate 80 showing green, no longer any delays in concord. in its rival looks good to oakland. the south bay freeways look good.
