ride-sharing company that will be allowed to operate in an airport in the state of california. uber, lift and side car changed the way that people get around and those companies have ruffled many feathers along the way. can companies have complained about them since the first app went into operation. sfo band the ride-sharing company from coming onto the airport property about two years ago and a big cat and mouse came was going on for a while. all that changed after years of illegal operation and complaints from cab companies, they will allow drivers from side car to come and go to the airport, going into effect within the next 30 days and will allow them to drop off and pick up passengers at sfo. what changed? why is the third-most popular ride sharing app to come in?
money, of course. sfo is getting a cut from every side car trip into the airportary it's not cheap. according to the deal. side car will pay the airport 3.85 every time a driver comes to sfo. compare that to the charge for regular taxis. traditional cabs, $2 for every trip. can drivers say the apps are bad for business because they can undercut the cabbies. the airport says they're in negotiation with uber and lift, as well. the san francisco bay gar gar

and then heavier rain sunday night into monday. a look at the future cast, it's pinpointing light rain over the bay. we know that's not going on. we know this is to the north along the coastal waters and near the san mateo coast. the overnight hours, spotty, light showers through the bay area, kind of hit or miss depending on where you are, focused on the north bay. you can see a lot of the activity here, 3:00 in the north bay, and as we move into the morning commute, very spotty, into the 6:00 hour a lot of it is to the north but we have rain over san francisco near concord and at the coast. then later in the mourn, spotty showers make there way in, but brief. by 10:00, hours of late rain to the north. the afternoon, mainly clear. we'll have some clouds continuing to push through but
no brain expected into the afternoon. rainfall, the north bay, we could see a bit more because we'll have the rain hugging the coastline, same through for the stan cruz mountains. the east bay and south bay, we're expecting next to nothing with this system. 60s and 70s through much of the bay area into tomorrow afternoon. the extended forecast, dry on thursday but friday, a chance of light rain returning to the forecast and sunday night into monday, a better chance of a little bit more significant rain but we're still not talking about some wild event of several inches. no, only about a half an inch of rain. the giants continue their rain. the giants continue their unorthodox way of ♪
