i think we would like to know as citizens if we are being watched, even if it is not being recorded. specifically talking about the muslim community, i think there is a concern that this surveilance technology could be used for survelience on the muslim community. the idea of the dronesi understand they are not armed but the idea of surveilance drones right away makes people fearful. san jose police say there is no specific timeline to put the drone into operation and a

licence from the faa still needs to be obtained. it will be up to the chief and other city leaders to determine when the drone will be operational and in use. i'm jeff bush in san jose, kron four news. >>pam moore the american civil liberties union is also expressing concern. the group says. local surveilance is expanding. with little or no oversight. nor public debate. the a-c-l-u released a report -- saying, 90 california police launched new surveillance technologies. such as, license plate scanners and police body cameras. san francisco supervisor john avalos is leading an effort to require public debate, oversight and accountability. before police acquire surveillance technologies. coaches, family, friends and supporters. held a "peace rally" this evening. honoring richmond high school junior - rodney frazier. the teen gunned down in front of his home last week. hundreds of people came out to the richmond civic center --- showing their support by lighting candles and calling for an end to the violence. there have been recent several shootings involving young people. police say they believe a gang feud is involved. frazier was not in a gang. the teen's family is heartbroken. they say, fraizer

was good kid. police say the young basketball star's death. was a case of mistaken identity. no arrests have been made. the family of missing tech worker, dan ha. says, the body found in the bay on tuesday. is believed to be his. family members made the announcement today. they say, they do not believe the 26-year- old killed himself. the exact cause of his death is still unknown. the medical examiner is awaiting dental records to confirm the identity of the body. meantime. a memorial service for ha is scheduled for friday evening at saint.

kron 4 news, stepped in and was able to get them delivered to the alameda county community food bank instead. after they were driven to the food bank. the health inspectors checked the frozen birds. once they were tested to make sure they were still frozen and safe. workers unloaded the nine -pallets of turkeys. the executive director of the food bank says, the unexpected bounty came at the perfect time.
