>> vicki : tonight. a major section of highway 101 in burlingame is closed again. as p-g-&e crews work to repair a damaged power line. this-- after a construction crew crashed into a transmission pole using a crane friday night. good evening, i'm vicki liviakis. kron 4's scott rates joins us live from burlingame tonight. scott, when will crews reopen the highway? >> scott :it definitely will not be until tomorrow morning at some point. they shouted down
both directions about an hour ago and here let us show you what they are doing crews in the basket are stringing those lines to the temporary wooden poles to they have put into place that poll was crushed and came down on friday so the crew is, on both directions to fix it-- pole was crushed crews are stringing about 1,500 ft. crews are very busy right now and here's what had to say >>:if you look here you can see where the wires have to go up and how we're going to pull the wires that this is something that needs to be done while the road is closed so we are making sure we
had all the preparation done so we can take this time. to connect the wire to the transformer on the other side >> scott :the best thing you can do is use to 80 while the crews are out there doing this work-- 280 the roadway is expected to reopen by 4:00 a.m. but you'd like to check with us on the morning news they're not expecting any power outages during the work tonight >> vicki : prison officials have confirmed the number of inmates with legionnaires disease at san quentin has risen to six. on top of that 51 inmates are being observed at the prisons medical unit. five of the six inmates are being treated at outside hospitals. cooking has stopped at the prison and boxed food as well as bottled water is being
brought in for the staff and prisoners. legionella bacteria can grow in water so officials are taking as many precautions as possible. symptoms of the disease are typically high fever, chills, and coughing. folks in the easbay are on edge tonight. a gas station was robbed in pleasant hill this evening. it happened in broad day light and near a busy road. now police say they are busy looking for the man responsible. kron 4's emily turner has the story. if >>:right now a man hunt is in full affect it happened before six oclock this evening. polce say he went into the store put the gun into the clerks mouth and took the cash from the register and took off in a getaway car. but not before hefired a shot and hit the clerk in the mouth, injuring him. he was taken to the hospital and is going to be okay. in the meantime, police are now looking for the man who did it.a black man in his thirties with a bald head about

tyrone mosby left his residential care facility yesterday. around 7 in the morning. but never returned. officials say mosby is developmentally disabled. and is able to use public transportation systems. he has been known to frequent flea markets in oakland and berkeley. mosby was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police. the two virginia journalists who were slain on live t-v last week were remembered during a memorial service in virginia today. a time for laughter and tears for family and friends as they shared memories of alison parker and adam ward. in an interview alison's family said they will do whatever it takes to combat gun violence in the united states. jeremy roth has more. >>:they saw as their mission to awaken us to what was good and fun in life > >jeremy : they were taken too soon >>:i want to play softball with him again,

him. that boy remains in the hospital tonight. kron 4's alecia reid spoke with the teen's mother, who believes there are more victims out there. >> alecia :directing a photo shoot as models prepare for bay area fashion week, roger francisco is accused of sexually assaulting a male model that showed up to his office on friday. he's donning shades with a busted lip, and bruises on his face. i sat down with the alleged victim's mother who didn't want to show her face on camera in order to protect her son's identityshe says after fighting off his attacker, the teenager called police then her. >> : he said mom he touched mei didn't know how to react because i didn't know where he was. >> alecia :the victim's mother rushed to the modeling office on west santa clara street, where she found police and the suspect in cuffs. >> : he was in cuffs on the corner. and i immediately wanted to attack him

afternoon before the clouds clear out even cooler and cloudier for wednesday with pretty much the same thing for thursday, but by friday that weather system up north is finally going to pull out warmer weather and bayside going up to the upper '70's and low 80s >> vicki : several thousand people gathered today to honor the three u-s forest service firefighters who died battling wildfires in washington state. more than eighty vehicles took part in the procession leading to the memorial service. 100 firefighters were in attendance. officials say the three dedicated their lives to protect the forests and communities around them.and for that.everyone should be grateful. along with the procession dozens of civilians lined the streets holding signs honoring the heros. the firefighters passed away august 19th when their vehicle crashed and was taken over by a community in houston is coming together in honor of a texas sheriff's deputy who was shot and killed friday. mourners gathered at the gas
station where officials say deputy darren goforth was murdered. they laid flowers.balloons.and other mementos at the pump where authorities say he was ambushed. authorities have arrested 30- year-old shannon miles in the shooting death of deputy goforth. miles is now facing a capital murder charge. and we have our sports coming up with jay r. stone having highlights
