we did have a chance to talk to the deputy . >> we are searching the immediate area and we have building patrols that the area . with assistance from san jose tv and the department of public safety . in addition to having over 45 deputies called in . they are currently active in the search . with canines office helicopter which can do thermal scans . trying to pick up individuals . >> reporter: these two inmates are considered dangerous . they are asking the public if you happen to spot the inmates do not approach them . they're asking for you to call the santa clara sheriffs department and let them handle the situation . the good news is on thanksgiving day, all-county offices are shut down . on a normal day this would be a

crashed . >> looking at the history of valley road -- malley wrote, we obtained that talley road was not on the designated route for that school bus . >> reporter: as for walker's condition at the time of the accident, toxicology results do not indicate that he was under the influence . >> we received toxicology reports back and it shows no trace of alcohol or drugs in the driver system . crowd season is facing troubles . health officials are recommending crab season along a 200 stretch of california . the warning signals the second year of supply destruction along the west coast for crab because of toxic algae bloom the crab is a stable on holiday tables for many commercial areas . it was supposed to start december 1 . state health officials are recommending that commercial crabbing from humboldt bay be delayed

back to breaking news out of the south bay this morning . the search is on right now for two inmates that have escaped from santa clara county jail these are the pictures of the escaped inmates . campbell is on the left and chavez is on the right . they escaped just after 11:00 last night . two other inmates escaped as well, but were found shortly after . the inmates cut through the window bars to get out police warn that if you do see either of these inmates, do not go near them . we will continue to update the story about the morning . we continue to follow the weather . a lot of people getting ready to leave the house this morning . some gems are open to get your workout on before you get your eating on . >> you can probably do that outside to keep warm . to keep the bot -- body blood going . >> that is what you make shivers let's go to the shot of tiburon . we will start off with mostly sunny skies . some fog out

we continue to follow breaking news out of the south bay . the search for two inmates who escaped from the santa clara county jail . let us show you their pictures again . these are the men who they are looking for lanon campbell the man on the left side . and chavez the man on

the right . they escaped 8 1/2 hours ago around 11 pm last night campbell is being held on robbery, and all threats firearms violations and described as 6 foot 6'4" . chavez was being held on multiple charges including burglary, extortion and firearms violations . he is 6'1" with a tattoo white bluff his left eye . jackie sissel is live . >> reporter: good morning . more than eight hours after the two inmates made their way out of the santa clara county main jail, you can see the area around the jail is still on lockdown . as deputies and police continue to search for the two inmates that escaped last night . it all started around 11:15 pm last night a deputy and normal patrol around the perimeter of the jail that movements coming out of the second tory window . he noticed at least one inmate coming down

from what is being described as a make shift bed sheet latter . there are four inmates that made it out of the second story cell . two of the inmates were caught almost immediately to more, but to just described are still on the loose . almost immediately, the santa clara sheriff's department called the police department and a shut down a huge swath around the santa clara county jail . they brought out k-9 units, the helicopter and had s.w.a.t. officers looking door to door . looking for the two escaped inmates . so far, they have not been able to recapture them . we did have a chance to talk to the public information officer from the santa clara county sheriff's department . he talked about the two escaped inmates . >> we know that they are on the run . they know that they are being pursued . we want the public to take great care do not approach them and call law enforcement . they are awaiting

trial . they are being held for multiple felonies each . serious felonies . >> reporter: the big question this morning is how did the four inmates make it out of the cell ? we are being told that somehow they cut through the bars in the cell that they were in . they fashioned bedsheets together to come down out of the second story . four inmates made it out . to recapture to two on the loose . we are told they were inside of a cell were 14 to 16 other inmates -- that are not giving authorities much information right now . authorities are also saying that if anybody in the public spots these two escaped inmates, do not approach them . call authorities immediately . right now we are joined by fate spar . how is the weather ?
