portal neighborhood near the intersection of taraval street and forest side avenue. that is just blocks from herbert hoover middle school. neighbors say they heard the screaming and went to help the girl. kron four spoke with an 11-year-old boy who lives in the area... he explains what police told him and his family about what happened. (mark) breaking news. israeli police say they have just arrested a 19-year-old jewish israeli who is suspected of making bomb threats against jewish community centers here in u-s. many bay area jewish community centers were targeted but it is not known if this man is connected to those threats. this is video of a los gatos jewish community center that was targeted. a former journalist from st. louis is also accused of threatening jewish organizations nationwide. police say the israeli teenager also made threats to jewish community centers in europe, australia and new zealand. israeli

police raided his parent's home earlier this morning and investigators say they have evidence linking him to the threats. ( mark ) breaking news from overnight. three people are dead and dozens are injured after a terrorist attack outside the uk parliament. seven people are still hospitalized and remain in critical condition.( darya ) and isis is claiming responsibility for the attack. rylee carlson has the latest in the investigation. mark rowley/acting deputy commissioner and head of counter terrorism: "we are absolutely certain parliament will be able to do it's normal business today as they've insisted they must do//white flash//it's business as normal in london."despite a deadly attack outside parliament wednesday... londoners are determined to carry on. parliament will be in session adrian bailey/member of the labour party: every time we walk into parliament, there are screens telling us about the risk level that day and i think members become immune when it says "dangerous" and so on. it's something that you live with and don't really think about."police have not

identified the man who carried out the attack.he mowed over pedestrians in front of parliament before crashing into a gate the driver stabbled and killed an unarmed officer - 48-year-old keith palmer - before being shot and killed by police.witnesses described the scene.bobby nagi/witness: we saw a black vehicle, at full speed, and uh it ran over a few people walking on the road. //you could see people flying on the uh sky with the impact of the vehicle,angie moore/witness:i looked over, and there were 2 or 3 people lying on the sidewalk. so i was a bit concerned with that. but then, there was another group 2-3 people in the same condition. and car parts on the road. responding to ( mark ) today is set to be the biggest day yet for president trump's first major legislative test.congress is set to vote on the republican health care bill. right now, the white house and congressional leaders trying their best to persuade republican lawmakers still on the fence about the bill. anny hong is at the breaking news desk with the latest. anny? ( anny at flash ) passage is crucial for the president and house republicans. lawmakers failed to secure a deal late yesterday as quite a few republicans are flat out against the current version of the bill. it comes after days of hard lobbying by the administration to close the deal. the white house is coordinating with lawmakers to bridge the gap between some conservatives who see the healthcare bill as too similar to obamacare and moderate republicans facing concerns from constituents who stand to lose health care coverage. senator lindsey graham says that the most important thing isn't swift passage of the health care bill but to get it

would cost california billions of dollars. that is according to governor jerry brown. officials say key provisions of the republican health overhaul bill would cost california over four billion dollars in 20-20. and within a decade, it would cost the state nearly 19- billion dollars unless california cuts back on health care benefits for the poor. lawmakers can cut costs by covering fewer people, reducing their benefits or paying less to doctors and hospitals. ( darya ) another big story we are following this morning... racist instagram posts targeting african-americans and other minority students at albany high school. the principal learned about the posts on monday and started an investigation right away. the account shows racist pictures and statements targeting minority students and a basketabll coach from albany high. we blurred many of the photos due to their graphic content. the mother of one of the students being targeted says the account was created by a number of juniors at the school. ( darya ) the school ( darya ) the school district

released a statement in part saying it is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all students and the account will not be tolerated. counselors are being provided for student support. police are also conducting their own investigation. ( mark ) happening today... one of the three people arrested after a deadly shooting on an eastbay freeway will appear in court. 24-year-old elliot johnson is one of the accused shooters on interstate 80 in richmond earlier this month. two 17-year olds were also arrested in connection with the shooting. 24-year-old demarcus doss was killed and another woman was injured. there have been close to 80 shootings on bay area freeways since 2015 (darya) a teenager is arrested and accused of two separate cases of indecent exposure in daly city. 19-year-old juan castaneda was arrested yesterday. police

say in both cases he approached women in an apartment building on mission street in daly city. they say he then began touching himself inappropriately. police say they are investigating if there are more victims that have not come forward. ( darya ) people in san jose are still struggling this morning to clean up after the coyote creek flooded their neighborhoods last month. kron4 caught up with people living in the rock-spring neighborhood. they are now working to fix their homes before tomorrow's expected rainstorm. some say they do not believe coyote creek will flood as bad as it did while others are not so sure.

one man says he is not worried about major flooding but will remian cautious: ( darya ) if the coyote creek does flood again...people living nearby hope they get more notice than they did last time. some are already coming up with an evacuation plan in case that happens. ( mark ) new information on the oroville dam this morning. a team of experts are warning of a "very significant risk" if the main spillway is not up and running again by the next rainy season. authorities evacuated nearly 200-thousand people last month after huge holes appeared in the main and emergency spillways... and there are concerns that if the spillways aren't fixed before next season's rains it could lead to more evacuations governor brown has asked for federal assistance in dealing

with the repairs. it could cost as much as 200-million dollars. ( darya ) the owner of a vintage store in san francisco makes her first court appearance... and she is accused of selling endangers animal fur and body parts. cicely hansen owns "decades of fashion" in the haight-ashbury neighborhood. she faces nine misdemeanors after investigators seized 150- items from the store that contained skins and body parts from a jaguar, leopard, snow leopard, an endangered sea turtle... and more. investigators say hansen operated a normal shop in front selling vintage clothing... but would sell illegal items to more discrete clients. hansen is set to be arraigned on april 17th. ( mark ) happening now... thousands of a-t-and-t workers in california and nevada have gone on strike. we are told the workers install cable and phone service for customers. they also work in call centers and handle questions and problems. the union says

one of issues is the job demands being made by the company. they are also locked in a contract negotiation. a-t-and-t has not commented on the strike. it is not clear just yet exactly how this is affecting service in the (mark) alaska airlines is getting rid of the virgin america name. alaska is now the parent company of virgin after both airlines. they say that all virgin america flights will fly under the alaska airlines brand. alaska bought virgin last year in an effort to burst into the california market. they will noe add 25 new daily flights out of san francisco, san jose, san diego, and los angeles. alsaka has promised to keep virgin america's unique edge... that includes mood lighting, boarding music, and in-flight entertainment. virgin will officially fly as alaska sometime in 2019. (darya) the city of oakland could find out in just a few days whether the majority of n-f-l owners agree that the silver and black should become sin city's official football team. a vote is tentatively scheduled for monday. oakland officials and fans say the majority of the leagues money comes from national television agreements. they say since oakland is in a much bigger television market... it has a better advantage over las vegas. ( mark ) a warning to people with i-phones. there is a new prank that can hold up emergency lines even though you aren't trying to call 9-1-1.( darya ) the prank is spreading all across social media. it tells people to say "hey siri 1-0-8." you then hear a countdown from five seconds and are automatically connected to a 9-1-1 dispatch center. ( mark ) "1-0-8" is an emergency number in india and your i- phone registers the call as an emergency and connects you 9- 1-1. police say this can tie up lines and prevent officers from responding to a real emergencies.

( darya ) san bruno-based youtube is losing major advertisers who are upset that videos promoting terrorism and other hate groups are appearing alongside their brand. ( mark ) at&t, verizon and several other major advertisers have pulled their advertisements from youtube. the boycott threatens to cost youtube hundreds of millions of dollars.( darya ) the companies say videos supporting terrorism and other hate groups are appearing alongside their ads. ( mark ) earlier this week, youtube vowed to step up its efforts to block ads on "hateful, offensive and derogatory" videos. but that promise so far hasn't satisfied advertisers. ( mark ) breaking overnight... we just learned that an american was killed in the deadly terrorist attack outside britain's parliament. anny hong is at the breaking news desk with the details. anny? ( anny @ flash ) that american was a tourist who was on vacation in london with his wife to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. kurt cochran and his wife melissa, who suffered serious injuries and is being treated in hospital -- were on the final day of a european vacation. they had been due to fly home to the us on thursday, according to a statement released by the lds church. meantime, british police believe the attacker acted alone and was inspired by international terrorism. officials revealed that the attacker was born in brtiain and was once investigated for extremism. police arrested eight people after multiple raids in connection with yesterday's attack. four people were killed including the attacker, as well as a

on kron 4. a woman on a bart train is viciously attacked... and police believe the crime was random. the victim is a 73-years old. she boarded bart at the fremont station just after 4:00 yesterday morning. she says an agitated man walked by her and moments later she was suddenly attacked. she says she didn't remember what happened and blacked out. bart police say the victim was kicked by the man, and then he slammed her into the side of the train. she had to get six stitches in her head. some bart riders say more security is needed.

turn. last night officials revealed that the f-b-i has new information suggesting possible coordination between the trump campaign and the russian government. u-s officials say that the f-b-i has information suggesting that trump associates may have communicated with the russians to possibly coordinate the release of material damaging to hillary clinton's presidential campaign. officials are cautioning that the investigation is still ongoing and nothing has been confirmed. the white house is continuing to push back against suggestions of collusion between russians and the trump campaign. no major hot spots. bay bridge wb 80 is backing up into the maze ( darya @ land ) a mother in florida scares off an intruder using a shotgun, and its all caught on camera.(mark) this happened earlier this month, but we are just gettting the surveillance video now. you can see the man trying to break into her home while the mother was inside with her 10-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. the mother then quickly grabbed her shotgun. she says instincts took over and that she would do anything to protect her family. ( darya ) people in san jose are still struggling this morning to clean up after the coyote creek flooded their neighborhoods last month. kron4 caught up with people living in the rock-spring neighborhood. they are now working to fix their homes before tomorrow's expected rainstorm. some say they do not believe coyote creek will flood as bad as it did while others are not so sure. one man says he is not worried about major flooding but will remian cautious: ( darya ) if the coyote creek does flood again...people living nearby hope they get more notice than they did last time. some are already coming up with an evacuation plan in case that happens. ( mark ) new information on the oroville dam this morning. a team of experts are warning of a "very significant risk" if the main spillway is not up and running again by the next rainy season. authorities evacuated nearly 200-thousand people

last month after huge holes appeared in the main and emergency spillways... and there are concerns that if the spillways aren't fixed before next season's rains it could lead to more evacuations governor brown has asked for federal assistance in dealing with the repairs. it could cost as much as 200-million dollars. ( mark ) take a look at this. the final piece of big sur's pfeiffer canyone bridge on highway-1 came down today. heavy rain in january and february damaged the bridge beyond repair. a big crack forced crews to close it indefinitely.... stranding over 400 residents to the south of big sur and cutting off access to the famous resorts of ventana and post ranch inn a new bridge will be built within six to nine months. for now people have to take alternate routes to get around town. ( darya ) the owner of a vintage store in san francisco makes her first court appearance... and she is

( mark ) breaking overnight... we are learning new information about the deadly terrorist attack outside britain's parliament. we've just learned an american from utah was killed and his wife is injured. this is kurt cochran and his wife melissa. she suffered serious injuries and is being treated in hospital. they were on the final day of a european vacation. they were supposed to fly back home today to utah, according to a statement released by the mormon church. british police believe the attacker, who has been identified as khalid masood, acted alone and was inspired by international terrorism. police say he has a long criminal hsitory. isis is claiming responsibility for the attack. officials also revealed that the attacker was born in brtiain and was once investigated for extremism. police arrested eight people after multiple raids in connection with yesterday's attack. four people in total were killed including the attacker, as well as a

( darya ) a massachusetts woman now has her wallet back after it was stolen eight years ago. courtney connolly had it stolen while she was a interning at a theater company in the summer of 2009. someone found the wallet on monday and gave it to police. officers returned it to courtney and everything was still inside. her credit cards, social security card, driver's license and even her 141 dollars in cash were all still there.
