her car was found upside down on the beach. this it happened early last night on palmetto avenue and westline drive near the mussel rock open space preserve. emergency crews had to climb down the steep cliff to get the woman out. nobody else was in the car. the public was angry at p-d, but because the family was at ends, and at one point one of the suspect's uncle's got in the face of one of the barbers that was shot.tensions were extremely high after that body cam footage from inside and outside the store .... and also dash cam footage from outside the shop was shown. police say leading up to the shooting, family members called 9-11 after 21 year old jehad eid threatened his family with a gun.he allegedly went inside the barbershop and flashed that weapon.by the time police got there, we're told eid stood up and fired 9 rounds towards responding officers.p-d returned fire, striking him 18 times.the officer that was hit in the leg, managed to crawl out of the store.after the shooting, police rendered first aid, but eid was pronounced dead at the scene.authorites say one teen and 2 barbers were shot before police got to the scene.this tragedy has literally torn this family apart.one side believes the altercation did
not have to end in a deadly shooting. the other side apologizes to the community and the s-f-p-d for what happened last wednesday.after tonight's altercation, the barber that was shot stood up and spoke to the family.sot standupthis is an ongoing investigation.chief bill scott says both officers that discharged their weapons have been interviewed.however their names aren't being released at this time.reporting live in san francisco ... ali reid ... kron 4 news.
less than two weeks after the deadly police shooting of an unarmed stephon clark -- now a funeral for the 22-year- old. you just heard is brother speaking at the service. but tensions remain high in the city, and authorities are preparing for additional protests. (vicki) civil rights activist reverend al sharpton delivered the eulogy during the service for stephon clark.
and as we reported -- police fatally shot the 22- year-old in his grandmother's backyard on march 18th. (vicki) sacramento officers were responding to a report that a man broke car windows and was hiding behind a home. police said they pursued clark -- who hopped a fence into his grandmother's property. police say police say they shot him because they believed he was pointing a gun at them. (grant) the driver arrested yesterday in san francisco - accused of running over five men....killing one of them... has been identified. 33-year-old mark dennis is facing multiple charges --
including murder and attempted murder. a woman who says she knows the suspect...tells kron4 that he is homeless. she says she would see him when he'd park his van at heron's head park, where she walks her dogs. marie says she's called the police on him several times in the past, but never filed a report. "he would do everything he could to basically cause you to interact with him in a really negative way. (philippe) why? (ann-marie) i don't know -- i think he's very unhappy."(grant)unhappy." this is file video of what it's like to be inside a car that's drag racing at sonoma raceway. but exhilaration turned to heartbreak wednesday night when a 75-year old napa man died . authorities say james kenneth rambo had just crossed the finish line in his customized 1976 ford pinto. authorities say he appeared to brake but his vehicle pulled to the left and slammed into a concrete barrier at over 100 miles per hour. he died as a result of the crash. sonoma raceway says rambo was the only racer on the track at the time..the wednesday night drags program has been going on for 30 years and opens the track to 300 competitors every wednesday night to race in what the raceway calls a safe legal and controlled environment. this is the first on track fatality in the program's history.dan kerman kron 4 news. (vicki) today was one to remember for the skyline high school baseball team. last summer, one of the coaches, jake walter was killed in a shooting in san jose. he was a new oakland firefighter,
who was out with friends when the shooting happened. after walter's death, the oakland fire department raised money for the baseball team, which walter was a member of when he attended skyline and then coached in recent years. before the skyline vs. mcclymonds baseball game, there will be a ceremony in which oakland firefighters will be presenting a sizable check to the team. (grant) now to concerns over what some are calling a shortage of police officers in the bay area.... the martinez police department...sa ys it needs more cops. right now there is no dedicated school resource officer, no dedicated homeless outreach officer, no dedicated officer to work with the mental health evaluation team. the police union and the city say they are trying to find common ground on salaries. the starting annual salary for a martinez police officer is just over 75- thousand dollars... versus what neighboring walnut creek officer making just over 93- thousand.

(terisa estacio, reporting, pacifica) pacifica police say they received a report of a man exposing himself and alledgely taking pictures of video here - at linda mar beach. it was around 2:40 wednesday afternoon - when police arrived, the man had left. but witnesses were able to give a description of the person as well as what vehicle he was driving. this is captain chris clements with the pacifica police dept. capt. chris clements, pacifica p.d. he was described as a white male, adult between 40- 50 with a bearded wearing a black hat, a turquois shirt and short short white shorts. he was seen driving from the beach parking lot southbound on state route 1 in a gray, late model honda civic two door or similar vehicle.

((vicki)) a man has died after being taken into custody by sonoma police. he was allegedly causing a disturbance at a mobile home park on ramon street last night. officers say the
man was naked and refused to listen to their commands. he was then tased and handcuffed. the man went into medical distress and was taken to the hospital where he died. (grant) in santa cruz, the sheriff's department has arrested one of it's own...after allegeations of sexual assault inside the main jail. this is the booking photo of 29 year old former santa cruz county correctional officer marco del real. he was arrested yesterday and faces multiple felony charges including assault under color of authority. the case began in july of 2017... when fellow correctional officers were hearing rumors that del real... had sex with an un- named female inmate who was encarcerated at the jail(sot) the female inmate was provided with counseling and assured that she would have no further contact with
del real. del real is now out of jail after posting a $50-thousand dollar bond. he was fired from his job and is expected to be arraigned next week (grant) an arizona dad says he was tired of his son getting beat up and bullied by a seven year old... so he called the police. the father insists the school knew bullying was happening and didn't do enough to stop it. so he decided to take matters into his own hands and called phoenix police in arizona on the accused seven year old bully. the district says they take a pro-active approach to bullying...and said in a statement and there is no bullying problem at this school.
