( darya ) and if you are staying in the bay area... starting tomorrow morning... áno trains will run between the pleasant hill and concord bart stations. crews will be doing maintenance work on the tracks thru monday. bart will run free buses between the two stations... with 20-minute delays expected for passengers. crews will replace electrical equipment and a drainage system. they'll also resurface rails and trim trees. ( darya ) and... road work in berkeley will close gilman street between second and fourth street starting tonight. the road will reopen monday afternoon. maintenance crews will also have the railroad crossing on gilman closed to make repairs to the tracks. officials warn that people living in the area will hear more horns than usual... which is required by law during train track maintenance. parking restrictions will be in place at the golden gate bridge starting this weekend. those restrictions will be in place thru labor day. personal vehicles will not be allowed at the welcome center or the vista point parking lots. the lots will still be open to bikes. taxis and ridesharing services can pick up and drop off passengers at the welcome center only. ( james ) the dublin waterslide where a young boy was injured is set to re-open. the wave will open tomorrow. last year... a 10 year-old boy was thrown from from the 48-foot emerald plunge just hours after its grand opening. he suffered cuts after sliding on the concrete. the slide was closed during the investigation into what happened. for people who are heading to monterey county for the holiday weekend. health officials are warning visitors about dangerous levels of bacteria found in the water at lover's point beach in pacific grove. doctors say the higher levels of bacteria can cause an increased risk of illness. montery county officials are telling people not to go into the water. but all other surrounding beaches are open without restriction. ( darya ) also in the south bay... a teacher is arrested... accused of sexual battery in two different cases. now deputies are looking for more victims. christopher kaldy is accused of inappropriate contact with a student and another case involving a teacher.. he did surrender to police. kaldy has been a been a music teacher milpitas high school since 1998. he's been on adminstrative leave since march... that's when the first report against him was made. ( darya ) a san jose elementary teacher is behind bars... suspected of comitting a lewd act against a child. eduard frerking was a kindergarden teacher at dahl elementary school in san jose. police say he asked a 9- year-old student to help him set up his classroom earlier this month. he is suspected of inappropriately touching her. detectives arrested frerking at the

school on wednesday after the incident was reported. ( james ) we are inching closer to election day with less than two weeks until the polls open. one controversial measure on the ballot in san francisco is proposition h, to equip police officers with tasers.( darya ) but as kron 4's sara stinson found out there is much more to the story than what's on the ballot. she joins us live from the police headquaters with the details. sara? it turns out prop h is more of a war on words and is more of a battle between the san francisco police officers association and the police commission. trt: 1:54out: on cam soccg: gary dalagnes, sf poa past president:48 - :54cg: alex post, co-chair of no on h1:01 - 1:06there is an aggressive campaign swirling around propostion h.("telling people voting yes on prop h would give police officers tasers, but that's just not true. the police commission already voted to equip the department with tasers and voted on a policy for their use.")in november - the police commission voted to allow officers to have tasers and how they should be used.but

the - the san francisco police officers association thought the rules were too restrictive. and created "proposition h".(" we don't want to give our officers tasers and then have them afraid to use them.")under current policy officers can use tasers if the suspect is violently resisting.if passed - prop h would change the wording to "actively resisting and assaultive".("we don't want the officers to be restricted or think twice about using the taser. the term violent behavior is in our opinion is very restrictive and open to interpretation.") prop h opponents say the new verbiage is dangerous.("it's a term of art that's very broad includes verbally signally and attention to arrest. so essentially under prop h if you talk back to a cop you could be electrocuted.")san francisco police chief bill scott also opposes "prop h" saying if enacted it could only be changed or rescinded by majority of voters or by an ordinance adopted by the board of supervisors.("i would like to hear a straight answer from them about why they think it would be a good decision to lock the police commission and police chief out of use of force policy making. something we haven't seen nation-wide, it's unprecedented.")("this chief of police in my opinion has been very weak, he has

the video... james ahn says the woman was angry at him for driving the speed limit ant she wanted to go around him. as she drove past... ahn had his passneger start filming because he was worried that she was going to cause an accident. that is when she started screaming more racist things. at one point the woman appears to use her fingers to slant her eyes in another racist gesture. in his facebook post ahn says he is planing on reporting the woman to police for a hate crime. . the woman has not been identified. ( darya ) new this morning ... harvey weinstein has been charged with two counts of rape. this is video of the disgraced hollywood producer showing up at a new york city police station this morning. he was arrested on criminal charges in a months-long investigation into sexual assault allegations. two law enforcement officials say the charges are related to

a former actress -- lucia evans -- who says weinstein assaulted her in 2004. weinstein has repeatedly denied the allegations. today's chges follow a flood of rape accusations from other women against weinstein. ( darya ) san francisco's district attorney says charges will ánot be filed against the officers involved in the two high profile police shootings. both were deadly. back in december of 2015... the shooting of mario woods was caught on video. it showed 5 police officers opening fire on woods... who was a stabbing suspect. an autopsy showed he'd been hit more than 20 times. then in april 2016... 2 officers fired on luis gongora... a homeless man armed with a knife. police say gongora refused to drop the knife and moved toward them. the d-a said the law is clear... but he still struggled with the outcome.

housing for educators. measure j is on the june ballot for san mateo unty. in order to pass, it requires a 55-percent super majority vote. the president of the board of trustees says the jefferson union high school district is the lowest paying in the county... a recent survey showed 20-percent of their staff say they will have to move in the next five years because of the cost of living. we spoke to a man who says he is against the measure. ( james ) if measure j passes... the housing will be built in daly city at the former parking lot at serramonte high school. educators will be able to live in the units for up to 7 to 10 years. ( darya ) happening today... bart is opening a new station in antioch.( james ) there will be a ribbon cutting later this morning...

( lydia )this is a big relief for people living in antioch... bart passengers who live in antioch and wanted to ride bart have had to drive to the pittsburg-bay point station in order to get their train but on saturday that will all change.they'll now be able to board small trains that run on biodiesel and operate on standard-gauge railroad tracks without being pulled by a locomotive.the service between the pittsburg/bay point station and antioch is 10 miles long and adds two new stations. the extension will be able to carry an estimated 2,400 people in each direction, per hour, during rush hours.there will be a ribbon cutting at 11-am but we will get to ride on these trains at 6am.reporting live in antioch, lydia pantazes kron4 news.

( james ) 2 years ago today... vallejo teen pearl pinson was kidnapped. now.. we're learning new details in the search for the missing teen. witnesses saw a man grab pearl at the overpass right by her house. that man -- fernando castro -- died in a shootout with law enforcement in southern california. detectives say pearl's blood was found in castro's car. we're also seeing new pictures of castro driving a tan sedan in bodega bay... while pearl was missing. the sheriff's just did a search in bodega bay for evidence in a pond... but that turned up nothing. also... two reported sightings of pearl at the pittsburg bart station were ánot true. her with a broken hip. kron 4's ali reid spoke with the victim... from her bedside. hopefully this person is no longer going to be able to do these crimes to anyonethe assault and robbery in concrod last friday has affected 93 year old grandma ---ann marie pedersen --- both physically and mentally. the violence that she endured has been very taxing on her as she's been having flashbacks of what happened to her on friday night otto hala-fi-hi was arrested and taken into custody wednesday night in the city of patterson in stanislaus county. once his photos started circulating for robbing the senior citizen and her caretaker, tips from the community led concord p-d to the suspect ... who turned himself in at a police substationjustice is served when we come together as a community.in addition to elder abuse and robbery, the 29 year old has been arrested for robbing a lowe's home improvement in fremont back on may 9th.in that robbery, police say the 6'3, 300 pound man went up to a register and lifted the front of his shirt, took out a semi-automatic handgun, and threatened to shoot employees if they didn't back ay from the register. he left the store with the 2 items he had in his hands and took off in a white vehicle

the disgraced hollywood producer showing up at a new york city police station this morning. he was arrested on criminal charges in a months-long investigation into sexual assault allegations. weinstein has been arraigned on rape, criminal sex act and other sex charges. he posted a one million dollar cash bail. he will also wear an electric monitor and not travel beyond new york and connecticut. the charges are related to a former actress -- lucia evans -- who says weinstein assaulted her in 2004.
