( james ) in the east bay ... auto burglaries are on the rise in the city of hercules. police are describing the burglaries as 'smash and grab'. the robbers drive up next to cars ... smash the window ... grab

the item ... and drive off. police say most of the robberies are happening at strip malls. but there have been a few 'smash and grab' incidents at the parking lot at a golf course. we spoke to one woman who's witnessed a break-in at the golf course lot. < "we are always very careful to make sure we don't have anything visible, for them to see to break into, another time there was a break-in and a whole bag with somebody's papers were taken">( james ) investigators are reviewing the strip mall and golf course surveillance videos for any possible leads. -( james ) also in the east bay... we know now the name of the woman killed after driving the wrong way on i-680... near walnut creek. she's been identified as 32- year-old crystal beauvais of oakland. the c-h-p says she was headed north in the southbound lanes near livorna road when she crashed into a concrete center divider. ( darya ) the teen who was killed in a head-on crash in brentwood has been identified as 17-year-old emily alarcon reyes. the crash happened monday afternoon on vasco

road... just south of walnut boulevard. officials say a jeep veered over to oncoming traffic and hit a tow truck. another passenger in the jeep suffered major injuries from the accident... and the driver of the tow truck suffered minor injuries. ( darya ) in sonoma county... a fire at a pallet factory forced neighbors out of there homes. authorities says the flames erupted yesterday afternoon at the factory in schellville. fortunately... the evacuation order was lifted a short time later. no word on what sparked the fire. the buzz is about game 3 tonight for the warriors and the cavs. the warriors are in cleveland.. probably already up and heading to practice around now.. maybe having a pbj.. i like it cut in to four squares with the crust cut off.. james i know you disagree: but we can agree no politics at the table.. and that's something the warriors and cavs agree on: no politics.. whoever wins the nba championship, they don't want to visit the white house. and this is coming up now, because as you know the president just disinvited the superbowl champion eagles because most of them didnt' want to go either.. if the warriors win they say the warriors win they say they'd like to do something like they did last year.. instead of hanging out

with president trump, they celebrated their win and diversity by touring the african american history museum with a bunch of school kids. when i get there i'm not going to that burger king in wilmington delaware, where they found the rats.. did you see this?? they were crawling on the buns inside the bag!!! i know we have rats and mice in the garage... seen the droppings.. mice aren't good either but rats are horrible cuz they're bigger. what would you rather invade your house: cockroaches or rats?? they dont' have rats in the hamptons.. they're too fancy for that.. the warriors aren't the only ones who had tea there.. tiger is in the hamptons right now waiting for his tee time at the u-s open.. google says 25 minutes if you take route 27 to south

this one has to take the cake.. doesn't it? it's 20 million dollars... 155 footer.. with a gym of course, a theater and a jacuzzi.. but you know.. i'm not as impressed by boats anymore since my sister get on board.. her boyfriend bought a half a million dollar sail boat.. and it ain't all it's cracked up to be.. things are constantly broken: the autopilot, the toilet.. the waves!!! looks glamorous but i'm out. i didn't even really love the cruise. i liked alaska but a life at sea is not for me.
