we have one to two fires a day and when you respond together and you put your lives on the line, you do have to surround yourself with experts. and for us the expert in gas and electric is pg&e. we run about 2,500/2,800 fire calls a year and on almost every one of those calls pg&e is responding to that call as well. and so when we show up to a fire and pg&e shows up with us it makes a tremendous team during a moment of crisis. i rely on them, the firefighters in this department rely on them, and so we have to practice safety everyday. utilizing pg&e's talent and expertise in that area trains our firefighters on the gas or electric aspect of a fire and when we have an emergency situation we are going to be much more skilled and prepared to mitigate that emergency for all concerned. the things we do every single day that puts ourselves in harm's way, and to have a partner that is so skilled at what they do is indispensable,

a crucial series against the mariners... who they're battling for the 2nd wild card spot in the american leage. and it was a close.... but in the end the a's won: 7 to 6. oakland now has a 2- and-a-half game lead over the mariners for that wild card spot.and now to the vegetable: lettuce! it's a great sandwich topper.. it's also great thing to stick on the top of your head.. that's what marlins first base coach perry hill did at this game in atlanta where it was over 90 degrees yesterday.. a little chilled lettuce under the hat keeps you cool! it's actually a well known secret (which means, it's not a secret?).. babe ruth used to do it with cabbage. and guys, it's a great way to cover a bald spot. trust me kids, you can always learn a thing or two from your elders.. case in point.. check out this old guy.. schooling a kid on the court in a viral virdo. good moves. can you do

that?? put the ball down??then again.. maybe you're a dad who's better telling your kids what to do from the sidelines cuz trust me, it's a lot harder than it looks. once you hit 50 nobody is as fast as they think they are. you know what else is harder than it looks? hitting a golf ball.. even for a guy who's used to hitting a hockey puck.. watch alex ovechkin.. this is painful. the capitols captain was the mvp when they won the stanley cup this year and he can't get off the tee to save his life. well you can't take hocket swing at it. but i admit this has happened to everybody at one time or another.. you're like.. how am i not hitting this ball??? i'm

(cuz your phone can't get you pregnant) but also because you can now get the first f-d-a approved birth control app. it's called natural cycles.. you have to
9:52 am
take your temperature when you wake up.. you put that into the natural cycles app and if you get a green light.. it's less fertile day.. a red light means if you don't want a baby, you better not have sex that day. costs 80 bucks says the company says it's 93 percent effective for most women, which means: you could get a green light and still get pregnant.. which has happened to dozens of women who used the app in the u-k and sweden. actress robin wright who used to live in marin when she was married to sean penn.. just got re- married. it was a small private wedding in france where the groom is from: he's
