champion eagles in a game that featured nick fowles floundering.. and browns qb tyrod taylor falling.. taylor has to roll out of the pocket to avoid pressure.. he throws the ball and when he falls: his left wrist bend backward... he ran back to the lockeroom and the browns unleashed their tiger: back up: baker mayfield... we already got to see his abs in his underwear ad.. and we got to see his powerful arm last night.. but not for long: because he collided with a teammate and had to be checked for a concussion. then taylor went back in and played some more with that bad wrist. good thing the xrays were negative.. cuz i get that he's a tough guy and wanted to go in, but why risk it on a game that doesn't count. rams running back tod gurley is the opposite.. he says he's "happy!" not to play in the preseason.. and they may not play quarterback jared goff either.. the cal alum who went to marin catholic says he doesn't need the practice.. he's ready to face the oakland raiders in week 1 on sept. 10. the raiders play the packers tonight at home. the 49ers play the colts tomorrow in minneapolis. the san francisco giants had a great game.. madbum outdueled jacob degrom

to beat the mets 3 to 1. bumgarner pitched 8 innings.. striking out 8.. and giving up only one run. and he helped himself at the plate too.. driving in a run with a double in the fourth. he says for some reason citi field has always been good to him. but minneapolis' target field has not been good to the a's. they lost to the twins 6 to 4. that's a rare two losses in a row for oakland. the a's are 1= games behind houston for the american league west lead and four games ahead of seattle for the second wild card spot.serena willms won't be able to wear her superhero catsuit in the french open next year.. the french tennis federation says says it went too far.. so they're introducing a new dress code that respects the game and the place. way to kill what makes the tournament interesting.. serena's style is a huge draw.. when she wore that cat suit and said she was playing for moms everwhere.. it was a huge inspiration to women everywhere. women
