some pretty big changes today. a look outside shows skies cloudy and rainy something that we will be seeing across the bay not just through the morning but well into the afternoon.current temperatures are seen as pretty mild, the biggest thing you have to remember as your stepping outside is grabbing that rain jacket or umbrella. satellite and radar shows all the green and yellow indicating that rainfall that is pushing into the bay currently.this afternoon expect daytime highs to peak into the upper 50's and low 60's, this making for a noticeably cooler day than we've felt lately among all the other changes in today's weather.the next 7 days temperatures will level out in the 60's with rain possible again into the start of the weekend interspersed by drier

from students in sonoma county after a mother discovered sexually explicit adult videos on her child's device. kron-4's michelle kingston has the story. tuesday afternoon in fairfield...and the gunman is still on the run. the shooting happened just after 4:30 in the 2100 block of north texas street. an officer found the man in a parking lot of a strip mall. police say they are talking with witnesses in this investigation. (robin) in the east bay...investigators are combing through surveillance video to determine what caused an explosion in oakland that injured a garbage worker. the video shows ... a california waste solutions employee ... being injured after a blast occurred while he was compressing a load of garabage on moss street yesterday morning. investigators say,the video immediately played a key role b "it was more consistent with a pressure blast than an explosion. it is really unknown exactly what happened but we can rule out that it was a bomb or any kind of real explosive device">(robin) the bomb squad escorted

the truck to a waste solutions site, dumped the load and searched for what may have caused the blast. the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. (robin) in the south bay -- san jose police and fire 911 emergency dispatchers say response times are still not what they should be. those are among the findings of an audit for the police and fire department. a 65 page city audit finds that the money spent on overtime would be enough to hire more than a dozen new dispatchers. the audit makes several recommendations for improving the response to emergency calls, 95- percent. at roughly 90- percent. "....we need technology and there are steps in the process that could be eliminated with technology that is readily available so it's just a matter of investment..."(robin) the audit recommends the city improve it's system for

some california lawmakers are concerned about a bill that would be place more penalties on drivers involved in serious hit and run crashes. capitol bureau reporter ashley zavala shows us a victim's testimony that moved them to tears.
