football players and coaches of sexual harassment. the accusations were made last night on social media and the school is now responding. kron 4's sara stinson is live at u-c berkeley this morning with the details. a former cal atheltics intern wrote a lengthy post yesterday on facebook accusing football players and coaches of sexual harassment.kron 4 is not identifying the student because she could be a victim of sexual assault. in the student's post - she describes several instances of alleged sexual harassment including a time when she says a coach told her i will get you fired if you do not have sex with me. she also alleges that an unnamed coach invited her back to memorial stadium to his office at midnight.she wrote in the facebook post quote "he snuck me into his office, i put my backpack and binder down, and he immediately grabbed for my waist. i was terrified, my mind was fuzzy,

and i do not remember much from that night. he kept kissing me, pushing me against the wall, and i left."in another instance the student claims that at an away game a coach invited her backo his hotel room and tried to have sex with her, but when she denied him he became very angry.she said this coach is still employed by cal athletics.overnight cal berkley athletics released a statement to sports illustrated stating quote we are aware of the very disturbing public allegations made on social media.cal athletics is and always will be commited to fostering a culture where everyone feels safe, welcomed and respected. the student says she is now medically withdrawn from school and does not work for the team anymore.she says she is now in intensive therapy and is a semester behind.we're hoping to hear more from the university this morning.live in berkley, sara stinson, kron four news. thanks sara.

on the peninsula. police in palo alto are looking for a stranger who entered a woman's bedroom ... and sat on her bed in the middle of the night. here's a sketch of the home intruder. this happened in the 39-hundred block of el camino real just before 4 a-m sunday morning. a woman says he entered the apartment through an unlocked front door. she says he was wearing a glove and holding a flashlight ... when the man tried to talk to her. police say the man did not steal anything or touch the woman. she was able to leave the room unharmed, and then the inruder left her apartment a short time after. (áboxesá) happening today ... the oakland city council will vote on the lease agreement for the raiders to play another season at the

coliseum. the lease agreement has already been approved by the alameda county board of supervisors. the team has until march 24th to find a place for their home games this fall. the raiders are eventually moving to las vegas -- but the stadium there will not be ready until 2020 at the earliest. ( james ) happening today. the pittsburg woman charged with attempted murder for shooting her husband ... is set to appear in court. this is a picture of the victim ... paul shatswell. police say maria vides (vee-des) shot her husband over the weekend during a domestic vieolence incident. shatswell is the principal at the pittsburg adult education center. he is currently in a coma suffering from a brain injury and paralysis. people left flowers outside his home... along with a note full of prayers. his colleagues are still reeling from the incident.

( james ) new this morning... we now know the name of the man killed in a deadly hit an run. pittsburg police say 42- year-old felipe estrella died after he was hit on the intersection of west leland road and bailey road. police are now examining the city's video surveillance system to try to find the driver responsible. ( will) a man is dead after a crash in san jose. police say a 64-year old man lost control and crashed into a tree on curtner avenue and new jersey avenue. the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. not other cars were involved. in the east bay. oakland police are looking for a car that may be connected to armed robberies. here are pictures of the car. its described as 2010- 2014 honda insight hybrid, with 4 -

doors and red or burgundy in color. investigators say, the robberies occurred in various locations around oakland. the father of a 25-year old woman killed in a freeway shooting ... is speaking out about her death. he is pleading for the shooter to come forward. fred hillery's daughter destinee was killed when her car crashed into a guardrail on highway 4. investigators finding bullet holes through the windshield. c-h-p says they were looking into if the shooting was possibly gang related, but the family says her daughter could never be part of that.

( james ) governor newsom met with california's big city mayors to talk about tackling the state's homelessness problem. capitol bureau reporter ashley zavala explains what the mayor's are hoping for when the state budget is finalized in may. "the budget just changed." governor gavin newsom's conclusion after meeting with the state's big city mayors on california's homelessness issue. "it's not just about more money, it's about reprioritizing some of those investments." the governor didn't give specifics wednesday but he had originally budgeted $500 million dollars for homeless emergency shelters, navigation centers and supportive housing state-wide. the big city mayors are hoping for more... about the nation wide college admission cheating scandal. a hillsborough couple is charged for taking part in the scheme for two of their daughters. as kron 4's maureen kelly reports ... the couple allegedly paid for the admissions with more than a half- million dollars worth of facebook stock. here's the profile picture of bruce and davina isackson's daughter lauren....from the ucla women's soccer team roster....under her bio it states in not only that she was team captain for the woodside soccer club for 4 years....but was selected mvp in 2015. but according to the current head coach of that club....we haven't been able to find anybody who is aware of her as a player at woodside soccer club according to the court documents detailing the allegations against her parents....rick singer...the alleged ringleader of this nationwide scheme....told law

enforcement that the isacksons agreed to use bribery to secure her admission to an elite school ....singer using a falsified soccer profile to do so. and in 2016 the father transfered over a quarter of a million dollars in facebook stock to singer's charitable foundation. we always tell our players hey your best is always good enough for us apparently in this situation lauren isaacson's bus was not good enough for somebody so they had to falsify her profile and unfortunately named woodside soccer club as a part of itand over the next two years isackson allegedly transfered more stock...over 350-thousand dollars worth....paying singer to enter into a college cheating scheme for a younger daughter....and to secure a her admission into usc as a rowing recruit....even though that wasn't her sport. during a wiretap...singer idenfied in the documents as cooperating witness one....told the father that his foundation was being audited ....and "what i've told them so far is that 600k plus has actually gone to pay for our foundation for underserved kids."to which isackson replied "uh-huh"he

( will ) pot holes pot holes are just hard on our cars... it can at times be hard on our wallets. one woman knows that all too well. she says she was driving along 280... when her car ran over a pothole causing her airbags to go off. and she says the bill to fix her car is actually more than the car is worth. she didn't want to go on camera --- but showed us the damage the pothole caused to her car. ( will ) she's put a claim in to cal trans to see if they'll pay for the damage ... but they tell kron 4 they only pay if someone had previously reported about the pothole. if no one complained -- they say the driver is responsible.

( james ) in the east bay... u-c berkeley students are calling for attention to recent arrests made by campus police. a rally was held on campus... after u-c police arrested pair of cal students and a u-c-s-f student earlier this month. they say they were looking for someone who had a stun gun when they arrested the trio. u-c police say when the officers tried to confiscate the stun device... a struggle took place ending with the students in handcuffs. the incident has made some students feel unsafe on campus.

( james ) two redwood city police officers will not be charged with criminal offences ... in the death of kyle hart. police were called to his home on december 10th ... they say his wife called police because he was apparently trying to kill himself. hart allegedly charged at officers with a butcher knife and when a stun gun did not stop him... an officer shot him. hart died at a hospital. the san mateo county district attorney said the use of force by officers --- under the circumstances --- was lawful. a man in petaluma is beaten and police now trying to figure out if it was a hate crime. witnesses say they were about a block away from from the 2-5-6 north restaurant ... when they saw four to five men attack a man. the 60- year old victim suffered broken bones in his face. he was in the hospital for two days. but right now -- petaluma police

sellers have cut prices a bit... and some properties are taking longer to sell, many buyers are still pushed out. for example, a family with an annual income of about $100,000 a year... would need to put down roughly $600,000 .. to keep their mortgage payments at 30- percent of their monthly earnings. ( james ) in national headlines. one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers is under the microscope. the boeing company has been subpoenaed by the u-s justice department. federal officials are investigating boeing's certification and marketing for its 7-37 max planes.those planes have been grounded after two deadly crashes. one happened in october and the most recent was ethiopian airlines flight 302 earlier this month. it isn't yet clear what criminal laws could be at issue in the probe. but boeing says it is cooperating.

after some rainfall to kick off the first day of spring today looks to be dry from start to finish with nice conditions as your stepping outside the door this morning. skies have cleared out significantly overnight just as they did through the afternoon yesterday and expect conditions to remain primarily clear throughout the day today. now future cast shows that things wont necessarily stay dry for long as another system pushes through into tomorrow afternoon bringing with it more rain that will take us through friday night into early saturday morning. saturday into sunday after that point look dry though making for an overall favorable
