>> that was the sound of a pipe bomb exploding early monday in new jersey. it happened as a bomb squad robot examined a backpack. it was not part of a controlled detonation. the device exploded as the robot was cutting wires. as five explosives. it was found by two men who thought it may have contained valuables. they reported it to police. that is what happened. it was the second in new jersey since saturday morning. >> the people who are doing this have no value on human life and it's really difficult to

we spend all day trying to make it better, they spend all day trying to make it worse. >> this comes after a bombing injuring 29 people in manhattan. >> authorities named a person wanted for questioning as the investigation continues after this explosion saturday night and the discovery of a secondary device in the area. officials named this man as someone they would like to talk to. chelsea neighborhood of manhattan. 29 people injured but no fatalities. moments later the new york police department bomb quad unit found and disposed of a second device a few streets away. the act was intentionallal but unclear if it's related to ter rim. they don't feel comfortable going that far yet but it's looking like it and no one has claimed responsibility for that

>> a 19-year-old man is dead after shooting in las vegas after midnight near lake mead. when office areas received they found the man with a gown begun shot wound take on the umc where he later died. police don't have much to go on. they say a small blue pickup may be involved in the shooting and it does not appear to be random. they are asking anyone with information to call crime stoppers. >> metro police a robbery suspect this. man hit two businesses over the weekend. we showed you this man last week. he struck again over the weekend n opposite sides of the valley. this in addition to the one we told you about last week end this happened earlier this month. the man interested the business. he aroaches employees and presents a note and then he demands money and takes off with an undies closed amount of

roger goodell says there is still a lot of work that has to be done before the nfl considers las vegas as a possible franchise destination. he spoke after a committee voted to recommend spending $750 million in public money to help build the stadium. the project is now being discussed to lure the raiders away from oakland. goodell says this ultimately is up to the owners to decide if las vegas is he says he's still evaluating whether having a team play in a casino driven las vegas is still a good idea. it's tough for a city to lose a team referring to oakland how st. louis was affected by that who just lost the rams. >> we talk traffic and weather every 10 minutes so let's have a conversation with tom. >> we've got a couple of things to watch out for. let's start in the far south

the plane from going into a ditch. passengers exited that plane and were bussed back to the terminal where they boarded a second flight and made their way to reno. >> a cyclist face down and not breathing. bystanders jump into action trying to save the man's life. the entire ordeal caught on camera. it happened sunday morning. a navy veteran and police officer performing he was able to get the man breathing again before that cyclist was taken to a nearby hospital. >> having had previous training in the military and in the police, you come across things like that and it's a matter of just doing what you have to do. >> that man we don't know his identity or his current condition but jerry who is the one that performed the c.p.r. on
