last minute decisions-- where bernie sanders and hillary clinton headed to gain last minute support. but first, we're following breaking news this hour... one person shot and killed on the valley's northeast side. good morning las vegas, i'm here's what we know about the shooting. calls came in to police around one this morning of shots fired in the area around lake mead and marion. when officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. he was taken to u-m-c where he later died. metro is currently investigating. as always download our mobile/table app where will keep you updated fast and first on breaking news. the other breaking story we're following right now... metro says shots were fired at the gold coast casino----that's on flamingo near valley view. this happened earlier this morning. police say, nobody was hit with bullets. in total, four rounds were fired. by the time cops got there, the suspects had ran off. detectives are still at the casino, looking at video for any clues about the suspects and their motive.
continued well into last night. both candidates pushing for last minute support-- in a race described as too close to call. neither candidate broke new ground with their speeches. instead, deciding to concentrate on their strong points while also working to rally their supporters to make sure they show up for today's caucuses. bernie sanders we are gaining momentum because people are tired of establishment politics..they're tired of establishment economics. sanders had a three hour-- rally in henderson. at the same time he was taking the stage, so was his opponent, hillary clinton, across town at the clark county amphitheater. she was joined by her husband former president bill clinton who's been traveling the state trying to rally her supporters. clinton touched on equal pay for women, and her foreign policy experience while rallying her supporters. imagine a tomorrow where the minimum wage is not a poverty wage where the people who are

"my slot machine just turned off."

death of maxine zepeda-lopez earlier this week. but her family is still no closer to finding out why she died. her 7th grade classmates now telling 13 action news how hard it's been on all of them. "it's been real hard for me lately every since she was gone, so i just decided to come here." maxine died last week after her mom says she came home with a stomach ache and neck pain. they took her to spring valley hospital where she was given a prescription for nausea pills. hours later.. they rushed her to umc where doctors told them it was maybe a virus. a few days later.. maxine passed away. (irma blood, grandma) "i go where are you going? she goes grandma i'm going to heaven with you....9 years later, she goes without me" maxine's family says they're consulting a lawyer because they believe something went wrong before her death. a man is behind bars this morning after his 12 year old
this is olin manuel's mugshot. he's the father of sincere manuel. police olin onwed the gun tied to the boy's death. he's now facing charges of child abuse resulting in death and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person sincere died one week ago at a home near buffalo and vegas drive. two women are also facing abuse charges in north las vegas. police have released disturbing details on both cases.. one involves cynthia lavender. police say she was babysitting a friend's child when they were called because of an unresponsive 5 month old. lavender first said the baby fell off a bed but later told police she dropped him on a tile floor out of frustration. the boy died two days later from major head trauma and broken bones. the other case involves alejandra robles. she was working for an unlicensed daycare.. overseeing 8 children last november..
