"it was the perfect weekend, every piece fell into place with the city, the weather and the people, it's our day of the year for this industry where we

one couple... asiel castillo and his wife shannon... traveled with their daughter from the bay area so they could tie the knot on valentines day. marino says with so many couples like them coming to town ... weddings on valentines day bring a boost to the reno economy. and today is president's day, which means another big weekend for the ski resorts. at alpine meadows and squaw valley, skiiers were enjoying one of the most snow- packed winters in the past few years. officials are expecting a full holiday weekend "we have a 10 foot base up hare, and we've gotten 25 feet of snow. so the message has definitely caught on. there'e'a lot of happy faces up here." squaw valley alpine meadows is also kicking off a week-long kid-o- rama. it coincides with ski-skate week, where students in mountain schools have the week off to take advantage of the conditions. kenney says the event is a big

no accidents or incidents to report. all of our highways and surface streets are traveling at top speeds turning to campaign 20-16 bernie sanders made his way back to nevada on saturday... taking advantage of his time before the nevada caucus to speak with residents. one of the senatat's stops was at the university of nevada... in front of a packed lecture hall at an event called real solutions for real people. he discussed the importance of creating an economy that works for working families and his planned investment in jobs for young people. both bernie sanders and senator cory booker... who was there on behalf of hillary clinton... also took questions from the crowd. later... sanders spoke to a group of solar power activists... showing his support for sustainable energy. "we have a moral responsibility to transform our energy system away from fossil fuel and that's what people here

first,she will be at adobe middle school on jennings way in elko for a get-out-the-caucus event. doors will open at 8 a-m. then the former secretary of state will travel to reno for a woman's health meeting at u-n-r. according to the clinton campaign, this event will center around healthcare for young women and be a discussion based event that will last about an hour starting at 12:15 p-m. and finally she will be here at truckee meadows community college for another get out the caucus rally. doors will open at 2:30 p-m. just last month, former president bill clinton was at the boys in girls club in reno to campaign for hillary. on the bop side trump and kasich were here last month. no word on when gop candidates will be in town. campaigns tend to give only a few days notice for events like these, but we will be sure to bring you those details once they become available. you can r-s-v-p to either the elko or reno hillary events by heading to our website k-t-v-n dot com and click on the blue newslinks button.
