highs in the low 50s. winds will gust 20-40mph by the afternoon with a few scattered rain and snow showers possible north of i-80. it's going to be a nice weekend, with dry weather and highs warming into the upper 50s by sunday. have a great friday! a power outage in sparks left nearly 6-thousand people without power overnight. nv energy says the outages occured around 2 a-m this morning, and that what caused them, is being investigated. power is restored for most... though 700 customers are still without power. thanks jeff. turning to crime beat.. reno police have arrested two people in connection with a fraud investigation. 31 year old matthew williams and 28 year old julie morris were arrested a week ago and charged with burglary and using an i-d and credit card without permission. investigators believe they stole personal

them to make fraudulent checks. and police have also arrested 47- year-old james bzdziuch and 25-year-old , kanin celestre who are suspected of burglarizing cars at several fitness centers in reno. police say they recovered stolen property from a hotel room booked by one of the men after they were taken into custody on february 2nd. reno police are still investigating both cases... so if you have any more information... please contact them or secret witness at 3-2-2- 4900 and douglas county deputies are asking for help finding a woman who's been missing since monday. 69-year-old carolyn batchelor was last seen by her roommate at their home in zephyr cove. she's 5 foot 7... 180 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. she was last seen driving her silver honda pilot s-u-v... similar to this one... with

it just got an updated interface... you can get radar... forecast... and watches and warnings in the palm of your hand... and you can customize it to where you live. just search "k-t-v-n" in the google play or apple store. fernley's population has more than doubled since 2000. and that has created some growing pains. the north lyon county fire protection district does not have the funding to keep up with that growth. the fire chief says their 1- point-5 million dollars per year and 12 firefighters are only half of what is needed. volunteers are crucial... and the district has had help with donations... including two fire engines from the city of las vegas. huntley "we want to see development. we're excited about that and we definitely believe it will help us, but we want to make sure those people's investments are protected, too." city leaders say, they expect more property tax revenue to come in as growth continues...

nevada has 8 super delegates for their democratic party... out of 43 total delegates. the 35 regular delegates will pledge to a specific candidate. but the 8 super delegates are free to vote how they please... and can even pledge their votes...ahead of time... which change the political polls. but could they swing a nomination? chris:"it could swing a very very close national nomination...15% is not a negligible number." wicker is one of those super delegates from nevada... and the only one from washoe county. while he and the other super delegates carry a lot of weight...they can be overcome if the rest of the delegates show solidarity. eric: so if i win 23 of the regular delegates and the super delegates don't like me i still win 23-8 and if i do that in every state the delegates go home mad but i go home with the

ford is showing off pot-hole protection technology on the 20-17 fusion v-six sport sedan. ford says their shock absorber system automatically stiffens when sensors detect a pothole. and it keeps the wheel elevated instead of dropping into the hole. some luxury cars, including ford's lincoln m-k-z, have the same thing. ford says the fusion is the first mid-sized car in its price range with the feature. more than one million walmart workers will get a raise on saturday. the company says it will boost its minimum wage to ten dollars an hour from 9-dollars. the change applies to virtually all of walmart's hourly workers, including some supervisors. those effected make
