police in florida arrest the man wanted in the shooting death a georgia police officer. " the driver and passenger were detained, a search of the vehicle was conducted and revealed royheem delshawn deeds.24. was hiding in the trunk of the vehicle. raheem deeds was arrested on an outstanding warrant for murder ." the car was driven by deed's sister and a friend was in the front seat--- they were also arrested all three are waiting to be extradited to georgia. over the weekend officer tim smith was shot and killed while responding to a last week was a record one for the t-s-a... they found 78 guns in carry-on bags at airports around the country. of those, 68 were loaded -- and 21 had a round in the chamber. back in may of this year-- 74 firearms were found in one week. the t-s-a says in many cases, travelers simply forgot they had weapons with them. it's not just firearms - t-s-a agents found a knife inside a pill bottle in san francisco. and four replica grenades were found in the past

under water.... following some of the worst flooding since hurricane katrina.... fox's kelly wright has the latest on the efforts to help those forced from their homes. deadly flooding in louisiana continues to impact cities and towns... as rescue crews have pulled tens of thousands of people from their homes. louisiana governor john bel edwards toured the damage throug edwards says: " , the response phase is still ongoing. we're doing search and rescue right now in many parishes. as the floodwaters move south and the rivers crest further and further south, you have additional areas that are being brought into play. the rain has been ongoing since friday. thousands of people have lost everything they own... as the flood waters put their homes under water. sutherlin says: "we lost all of our cows and we're getting married in november, all of

our family pictures and things, that stuff we can't ever replace." shelters are packed with those displaced from their homes. volunteers have been coming together to help... and donate necessities. the outpouring of support has been so much that one shelter has stopped accepting donations. pellerin says: "it's been amazing on two fronts. amazing to see so many people adversely affected by this but equally amazing is just to see the outpouring of support and donations and volunteering from everybody coming together." hundreds of volunteers have been filling and loading sand bags in the hopes of holding back the floods. mos says: "everyone has a pretty good tendency to take care of their own around here." red cross volunteers from las vegas are headed to louisiana today to assist in the recovery efforts. "i've been a few times before so i kind of know what to expect. i welcome to the chance to go and use my skills to help the people out. louisiana... rescuers work to free a woman from a submerged car in baton rouge. you can see them attempting to break the vehicle's window.. and just as the car goes under completely, the woman is pulled up to the surface. but the woman's dog is still in car...which is now completely underwater. just as rescuers are ready to give up.... the pup is pulled to safety.
