the inn served as a restaurant and a convenience store it was right next to a gas station placed between victorville and san bernardino. some know it as a place for elvis presley or as some kind of landmark showing you where you are along the desert highway because of its giant red sign but the blue cut fire completely destroyed the building and the home connected right next-door to it. that home belonged to the general manager of the inn she's worked there for 24 years and had to evacuate the customers.

customers in the restaurant at the time and when the chp came by told us we had to evacuate i went back to the restaurant oft all the customers and employees out, came back grabbed a few things and i left myself." now keeney says her whole home and everything she's worked for and owned is gone. the former owner of the inn, cecile stevens stopped by today to see the ruins of one of his favorite places he says he's completely devastated. the manager did new owners are planning on rebuilding the in but that can reconstruction is going to take quite a while since it's completely the destroyed as of right now
