no word on what led up to the crash. a year after her daughter went missing.. a local mother is sending out a desperate plea. calling out for her 16 year old daughter.. and hoping she will soon find her way home. we spoke to azusena gaspars a year ago when isabella first went missing. and since then... she hasn't lost any hope. she says even a year later. she still pays her daughter's cell phone bills.. hoping one day she will respond. i worry about shes doing out there butt to i just want her to call and let us know shes okay i want her to come homei want her to come i want her to come home when isabella ran away. she was 5 foot 4.. and about 150 pounds. we contacted metro.. and they said they still don't have any leads. for now gaspar says she just prays her daughter is out there... and okay... and may be listening..

the district attorney's office is already acting on the new legislation. just a week after it passed.. the d-a's office is now holding off on prosecuting those cases. "were happy to see that we can help

from cannibis. i think it's time for people to take a serious look at it and understand it as the benefits that it has." this year there were 177 people arrested for carrying less than an ounce. police will continue enforcement efforts but possession of smaller amounts is a much lower priority. under the current law possession of any amount of marijuana is considered illegal. denver has become the first city in the nation.. to allow patrons to use marijuana while eating or drinking at restaurants. there is a catch.. patrons can't smoke inside the building.. and locations would have to get approval from their neighbors. but this move is a sign of the state's growing tolerance for pot. recreational marijuana was just made legal in california. and one lab is already creating quite the buzz. with a new breathalyzer. that can detect both alcohol.. and marijuana. researchers have spent the last year and a half testing the

obvious when someone is stoned.. but before it was almost impossible to prove. dowty says: "because they don't have a tool, like with alcohol, it's very difficult for them to say 'okay. all these things that you saw... and you may be right officer. but we need to be able to convince a jury." with marijuana now legal in some form in 26 states including here in nevada. law enforcement and employers are requesting this kind of technology. moving stinks... if you think packing up one house is bad... imagine moving an entire town. seriously.. the whole town. just moved. using specially fitted trucks.. 30 houses were picked up and moved to a nearby town. its kinda surprising the houses made the journey. they were built back in 1909.

metro says the robbery suspect shot the victim while he was taking the man's jewelry. the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. police say two men took off north on the las vegas strip in a red, newer model vehicle. call police if you have any information. a judge has set bail at half a million dollars. for a man accused of killing two people while driving under the influence. 25-year-old willie wortham will be held on 500- thousand dollars bail. police say he was impaired while behind the wheel.. when he crashed into a car on saturday. the victims -- jermaine asher and robert roberts -- died at the scene. the minnesota police officer who shot and killed a man during a routine traffic stop-- has been charged with manslaughter. you might remember this shooting- back in july philando castile was stopped for a broken tail light. his girlfriend-- recorded the entire thing on facebook live. she says castile

and had repeatedly told officer jeronimo yanez about the gun. but the officer shot castile-- who died from his injuries. judge glenda hatchett/castile family representative: "for his final words before he died to say i wasn't pulling - i wasn't going for the gun, i think is very very very compelling." butt to valerie castile/philando castile's mother: "we all hope and pray that the right thing is done in this issue." officer yanez will also be facing two felony counts of dangerous firearm. he is due in court on friday. at least one person is dead.. and nearly a dozen others are recovering... following a gas explosion in canton, illinois. several buildings have been damaged. according to police.. the entire downtown area was shut town... and natural gas was shot off throughout the town. the gas company said a contractor had dug into a gas service line. causing the

in more local news.. nevada officers are getting some federal help.. to combat property and drug crimes. the state department of corrections has recieved nearly one-million dollars in grants. nevada is one of three states awarded the funding. henderson police are want to make sure everyone gets home safely this holiday season.. so they're hitting the roads.. and keeping an eye out for seatbelts. you know the saying.. click it.. or ticket. now through december 10-th.. officers will be heavily enforcing the law. wearing a belt reduces the risk of a fatal injury up to 50 percent front seat, and 75 percent for people in the back seat. if you've gotten a parking ticket lately.. the city of las vegas is making a pretty good deal. they're allowing people to donate a toy.. instead of paying their fine. "so you can go buy a toy, a non-violent toy. bring it into our office and we will swap out dollar for dollar with your receipt and how much your fine was.
