Refutation of third misconception: The kuffâr sought their needs from
the Angels, Prophets, Jinn and Righteous. We testify that nothing is
worthy of worship except Allâh, that He is the one who brings about benefit,
brings about harm and controls all affairs. We don’t seek anything except from
Him. We only seek from the Angels, Prophets, Jinn and Righteous that they will
perform Shafâ’ah for us (intercede) with Allâh.
of the difference between this misconception (#3) and the first misconception.
That the ‘Aqîdah
of Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jamâ’ah is that kufr can take place in the
heart, on the body (actions) and on the tongue (statements). And that each of
these may independent of the other and still cause a person to leave Islâm.
Beginning of refutation of fourth
misconception: We do not worship
anything except Allâh. The act of supplicating (Du’â’) to other than
Allâh isn’t actually an act of worship.
Evidence from the Qur’ân proving
that supplicating (Du’â’) to Allâh is an act of worship.
Evidence from the Sunnah that
supplication (Du’â’) is worship.
