much for being with us, 8:00 on a saturday morning. this is a video of a lightning strike captured with a cell phone while on the pennsylvania turnpike. yesterday's storms sparked a tornado warning, and now there's a big drop in temperatures for our weekend. first alert meteorologist michelle grossman is in the weather center with that weekend forecast. >> good morning, ted. yeah, a big difference in temperatures. 15 degrees cooler compared to yesterday. we were at 80 degrees yesterday. we are at 65 today. chilly this morning, temperatures in the 40s, grab the fleece, the jacket as you head outside this morning. we are cloudy now in philadelphia and looking at 42 degrees in mount pocono. that's chilly. 56 in allentown, 52 in philadelphia, and 51 in atlantic city. it is breezy too. factor in the breeze, cooler than what it actually is. 15 miles per hour winds in philadelphia, 12 miles per hour in dover, and just higher than
that in spots with winds up to 20 miles per hour in some spots. now, as we plan our saturday, plan on a good one, sunshine returning, partly sunny at 10:00, by 1:00, sunny, 65, and by 4:00, 65 degrees as well. breezy today, warmer sunday, more sunshine, more about that coming up. new dramatic video of breaking news from overseas we've covered for you, a deadly bombing in turkey capital of ankara, 30 killed with more than 100 others injured. the blast went off near a peace rally. activists were calling for an end to violence between turkish forces and kurdish rebels. turkey condemned the bombing saying it targeted the democracy and peace. well, back to the storm damage. today, local homeowners will be cleaning up and doing repairs

hampshire. today, justice or else. that is the theme for the 20th anniversary of the million man march in washington, d.c. this morning, many are heading from philadelphia to the nation's capitol to take part. nbc 10 is live in the digital operations center for details on today's historic march. good morning. >> reporter: hey, ted. act vests, men want to see changes in the neighborhood, and women, for the first time now, hopped on busses en route to the nation's capital. look at this video captured this morning where people headed on busses to washington, d.c. they boarded busses before sunrise. among the crowd? generations of families and college graduates, maybe too young to attend the first march, 20 years ago. >> everybody in the world needs help. at least physically, and it's
sad to talk about sometimes. >> when you think about these times, these special times we live in, we know we are aiming for everyone, everyone knows we are one. >> reporter: today's million man march commemorates the 20th anniversary when hundreds of thousands desended on the national mall, and the message was atonement, and becoming active in one's community. today, the message is justice or else. in the digital operations center, nbc 10 news. >> thank you. three armed robberies all within an hour. police are trying to find the bandit who held up people walking through one of philadelphia's safer areas. police released this video of one of the robberies last saturday. the images show the robber walking up to a group of people, and police say crook had a gun. investigators believe the robbers did this three times inside an hour within a few blocks and before 10:00 at
night. nbc 10 spoke with a woman who said she felt safe walking there. >> reporter: how did that make you feel? >> really scary. because i would say i'm not -- i usually don't have my guard up when i'm walking through this neighborhood. >> we have to get this person off the street. >> video captured what police believe is the suspect's vehicle, possibly a dark colored infinity suv crossover. if you have information on the cases, you are urged to call the police. police are looking for two people in connection with a violence attack on a man. we have to warn you, the video you're about to see is graphic. the victim was in front of a bar, benny the bum, when the man and woman walked up to him saturday night. the woman pointed at him, and man punched him, knocking him to the ground. as the victim was lying there, the man continued to attack him. the victim was taken to the local hospital where he was treated for wounds. the philadelphia musician is
charged with trying to engage in a sex with someone he thought was a 14-year-old boy. turns out, 69-year-old charles cohen was meeting a police officer. cohen was arrested in the parking lot of a local store and charged with a number of sex crimes involving a child. from our delaware bureau in wilmington, police search the brandy wine creek after a witness says she saw someone throw a stroller off the bridge. several dive teams searched the waters of brandy wine creek for hours late last night in the 16 th street bridge. police don't know if a baby was inside that stroller, but they are not taking any chances. here's another look from sky force 10. delaware state police, wilmington police and philadelphia police on the bridge. investigators say the witness was not able to give a good description of the person who allegedly tossed the stroller. in camden county, there's a
new phone scam with a familiar ring to it. callers pretend to be sheriff officers threatening to arrest the person who answers the phone if the person does not send money supposedly owed to the ers. authorities say the scammers uses spoofing software to make it look like they are calling from the camden county sheriff's office. happening today, calling all first responders, pennsylvania's recruitment drive for volunteer firefighters and emergency workers continues. delaware county putting out the call for the first time. the county needs firefighters, fire police officers, emts, and paramedi paramedics. if interested, these stations are open today until 4:00 in the afternoon. prospect park fire company, newtown square fire company,

morning. police say jones opened fire near a dorm that houses sororities and fraternities. there's new information on a deadly shooting at texas southern university in houston yesterday. one student was killed, and another wounded is in stable condition. we have learned police are looking for a third person so they want to question in the case. the shooting happened at a student housing complex. the school is no longer on lockdown, and classes set to resume monday. >> a british nurse who recovered from ebola last year is now back in the hospital of a unique complication. she's treated in isolation at a hospital in london. they say the risk of her transmitting the virus is low, but public health officials are monitoring people who had close contact with her. she was diagnosed with ebola in december after returning from
