sunday morning. first alert meteorologist krystal klei is here with the first alert forecast. >> looking at a chilly forecast this morning. but as we move into the afternoon, temperatures will start to boost. so this morning, what you can expect. step out the door, get the sweater and the coat. it's windy, and chilly to kick off. now the good news is, it's not rainy. and that temperature boost is expecting in the afternoon, we're not talking a warm or hot day like we saw this past week. but, it will be a little warmer than the mid 50s that we capped at yesterday. moving forward, though, tracking the next cooldown already in our ten-day forecast. radar and satellite here's a view we're looking at right now. no showers to track today, instead the rain has moved out just as we expected. and now we're dealing with those clear overnight conditions. when you have clear overnight conditions those temperatures just plummet which is what we've seen. then you factor in the fact that winds are still picking up. that gives you those windchill temperatures. or what it actually feels like
outside. 39 degrees in pottstown and 43 in philadelphia. 39 now in wilmington. and 40 in trenton. check out mount 30ek know, feeling like 27 degrees outside this morning. i wouldn't be surprise if these numbers drop a couple more degrees before we see the lowest of the morning. we'll talk more about those numbers and we're going to track your afternoon temperatures, if you have plans to go to the eagles game, coming up. >>le. >> remember, love trumps hate 73 thank you. >> that's how hillary clinton ended her campaign speech in philadelphia last night. as the push for pennsylvania intensifies. decision 2016, clinton and her democratic running mate tim kaine spoke on the penn campus after a spot in pittsburgh yesterday. republican donald trump was in central pennsylvania yesterday. the candidates now have just 16 days left to win over voters. thousands of clinton supporters braved chilly temperatures at
penn park last night. the democratic ticket hit their platform points about job creation, women getting equal pay, college affordability, and defeating isis. clinton and kaine warned their backers not to rest on poll numbers showing them ahead in pennsylvania. clinton also reached out to republicans and independents who feel they just can't vote for donald trump. >> for anybody who may be reconsidering their support for my opponent, i'll do my best in these next 17 days to reach out to you. >> they don't call you the keystone state for no reason. you guys are key to us winning. >> clinton and kaine held their rally at penn just about three months after being nominated at the dnc in south philadelphia. donald trump made his latest push for pennsylvania in gettysburg yesterday. he laid out his agenda for what could be his first 100 days as president. trump's plans included canceling all of president obama's
executive orders, and deporting immigrants jailed for violent crimes. last night, trump moved on to ohio, where he once again claimed the election could be tainted by widespread voter fraud. >> there are 2.8 million people that are registered in more than one state. so we'll vote here, let's ride down the road, let's vote here. maybe they'll vote for trump. i don't know. maybe i shouldn't be saying this. i may be hurting myself. you're right. >> trump also vowed to sue every woman who has accused him of sexual assault. trump's threat came just before a new accuser came forward in los angeles. adult film star jessica drake claimed that in 2006 trump hugged and kissed her and two friends in his hotel room without their permission. >> asked me to return to his suite and have dinner with him. he also invited me to a party. i declined.
some of them asked me, what did he want? how much? >> drake is the 11th woman to publicly accuse trump of inappropriate contact. her lawyer is gloria allred, a longtime supporter of hillary clinton. we're counting down to election day and nbc 10 is your election source. download the nbc 10 app to twach our one-on-one exclusive interviews with the candidates and read our fact checks. 5:35 right now. new from overnight police are looking for two men who roughed up a disabled man during a home invasion robbery. nbc 10 was on the scene on warnock street in north philadelphia. the assault happened just before 2:00 this morning. police tell us the bandits knocked the victim out of his wheelchair, robbed him of his tv, cell phone wallet and keys, and then took off. the victim was not seriously hurt. also new overnight, a man is in the hospital after he was injured in a row home fire in west philadelphia. nbc 10 was on the scene on ray
street. flames broke out just before 3:00 this morning. crews brought them under control in less than an hour. they're working to learn the victim's condition. investigators will be looking for the cause of the fire that damaged several homes and displaced five people. several students are recovering from injuries after three school buses collided in montgomery county. the crash happened on the schuylkill expressway near the gulf mills exit yesterday afternoon in upper merion township. police say the buses jumped into each other in a chain reaction crash. nbc 10 was there after one bus returned to richardson middle school in springfield. the other buses had to be towed. ten students and a chaperone were taken to the hospital. all with minor injuries. well the eagles are home today to face the minnesota vikings, and the return to philadelphia of quarterback sam bradford. here's a live look now from our exclusive eagles nest camera
overlooking lincoln financial field. after two straight losses the eagles will be looking for redemption here today. monique braxton is already at the linc. she's live with a preview. good morning, monique. >> hey, ted. at the lincoln wearing my eagles green and guess what? the now vikings qb will be arriving in pennsylvania in just a couple of hours. as you know we're live outside the linc and all eyes will be on the eagles this afternoon. we've been following their practices with hopes of getting a glimpse of their offensive or defensive strategy. and carson wentz. well after two losses, a "w" would be nice against the undefeated minnesota vikings. who have a very familiar quarterback. >> you know obviously it helps, you know, just having some knowledge of their personnel, being able to go against them in training camp. but at the same time it's training camp. you know, i think they're still trying to figure out who they were, you know, as a defense. you see a bunch of different

with. yesterday just as expected we saw the wind gusts really crank up through the afternoon. in fact you stepped out the door it was just unbearably cool because of the fact that the wind was making it feel more chilly than it really was. same situation this morning. not quite as strong of winds but you're going to notice it and it's going to feel very cold as you step out the door. 13-mile-per-hour winds in philadelphia, 10 miles per hour in millville. wildwood and atlantic city, and 12 in allentown. today i think we will see wind gusts pick up again as we move through your afternoon. not quite as strong as
yesterday. but, looking at gusts around 25 to 35 miles per hour, certainly possible. so, here's the forecast for philadelphia today. 48 degrees where we're starting here at 5:42 a.m. 10:00 a.m., low 50s. if you're getting the early start to tailgating, temperatures for your afternoon here game time at 1:00 right around 60 degrees. and then by 4:00 p.m., 63 is our forecast high. winds starting to crank up. in new jersey also looking pretty good 51 degrees by 10:00 a.m. right now we're in the upper 40s. but as we move through the afternoon into the low 60s, enjoy it while you can. we're talking highs starting to drop again by the fourth week. we'll talk about that coming up. >> all right, krystal thanks. we can give you a head line that has not been used in 71 years. the chicago cubs are headed to the world series. this double play at wrigley field touched off a wild celebration, and ended decades of misery for cubs fans everywhere. chicago beat the dodgers in game -- in six games for the national league pennant.

approve this message. 5:45. it is a deal that could rock mass media. at&t is buying time warner for a record sum. at&t announced the nearly $85.5 billion agreement yesterday. the communications giant would acquire top brands touch as hbo, cnn, and the warner brothers movie studio. at&t says the deal will allow it to push the boundaries of mobile content. the agreement still has to be approved by federal regulators. a u.s. -- senior u.s. intelligence official is now
calling friday's massive cyber attack a classic case of internet vandalism. that official tells nbc news no country appears to be behind the attack. technology experts believe the hackers used dvrs, web cameras and even baby monitors to overload website traffic. they say those devices have weak default pass words that make them extremely vulnerable. the attack took down websites including twitter, netflix and amazon. the fbi is now investigating the incident. well the presidential debate season is over. but, "saturday night live" took one last crack at it last night right here on nbc 10. >> nobody has more respect for women than i do. 45 degrees where we are right now in chestnut hill. 45 degree temperature in west mount airy and 47 in brewerytown. upper 40s through center city. right now 40 at the airport and you see that as well for areas like fox chase bustleton in the upper 40s. those temperatures, though, are going to be starting to warm up this afternoon just a bit more than what we saw yesterday in the afternoon. as we are going to track more sunshine in today's forecast, and an area of high pressure not really going to boost us into the 80s that we saw this past work week but a little more so than yesterday. neighborhoods right now reading at 46, morristown at 44 and cookstown at 45. these are some of your lehigh valley numbers we're looking at. allentown at 45 degrees, and walnut port also in those mid 40s. so this is the radar and satellite look. yesterday we had the showers move through. in fact we got close to 2 tnt inch officially at the philadelphia airport. in our area, clear conditions
chlt the recommend mamnants of . vermont a little snow right now. this is a very cold air mass as we see some of the more wintry precipitation move through. still well out of our area and not heading our way. instead we will remain clear today to mostly clear, a few spot clouds. meaning that the eagles and vikings game should be a great forecast. start in the low 50s for tailgating weather if you're getting out there nice and early. maybe you're packing up the car soon. kickoff time 1:0060 degrees. winds will be gusting about 25 to 35 miles per hour meaning it's going to still be windy out there throughout game time. fourth quarter, 63 degrees your temperature. that will be the high for 25 in philadelphia. with just a few spot clouds. here's your neighborhood forecast across the board. we're not going to the game maybe you're watching from different area. these are the temperatures you can expect. 63 degrees center city. 62 westchester and 61 in cooks town. easton low 60s as well. just a few scattered clouds and those wind also be a factor in the forecast just across the board through this afternoon.
62 in trenton. atlantic city at 65 degrees. and wilmington, sitting at 64 for the forecast high. here's your hour by hour as i mentioned. scattered clouds in the forecast as we move through your lunch time and then right on through the rest of your afternoon into the evening. 6:30 as we move overnight into your monday, we see some showers that try to clip near allentown and mostly north of our viewing area. i don't really think we're going to see showers as we move through your monday. but we do have a chance of rain in that ten-day forecast. we'll get to that coming up in the next half hour. >> all right, krystal. today, dogs will join their owners for the tenth annual mutt strut at the navy yard. the 1.5 mile walk raises money for paws. a philadelphia animal welfare society. the event was originally scheduled for yesterday morning but was postponed until today because of all of that rain we saw. the eagles are getting set for the vikings, and the return of sam bradford. plus, penn state stuns the buckeyes. we'll show you the late fourth
